First time dwc—water level

this is my first time going DWC. I have a growace bubbler-3.5 gallons. Sprouted the seed in a humidity dome and just placed the Rockwool in the dwc net w some clay pebbles. Right now I only have the single root tail (about 2.5-3” long) coming out of the bottom of the Rockwool. The tail has grown trough one of the dwc-net holes and is hanging in the water. Do I need to lower the water level or is it ok? Should the water level (bubbles from the air pump) be touching the bottom of the Rockwool to keep it moist?

Also, when will I need to start adding. Nutes and how often do I need to clean the bucket?

Thanks!

Should be one layer of rocks in the bottom of net pot then the cube on top of that. Water level 1/4” up into net pot. So right at or just below your rockwool. Nutes I go with 350 ppm.that includes the 170 from my tap. At this point root rot is nocking on the door. You need to start fighting it now. Bennies and cold water. Good luck

This is what I’m talking about... there is a platform for the cube and my water level is about 1/2” under that

It’s like when u ask some one how often they spray for bugs. The answer is always. I don’t have bugs.
