First Time closet grow (few questions)

Hi rick here and I have a few questions regarding my new closet grow. ive been doing some LST as to utilize my space more i have an indica dominit plant thats growing like a sativa oddly enough. Here is a link to the specific strain (http://www.amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com/Bianca-marijuana-seeds.php) my question would be when should i start my flowering im about 8 weeks into veg (i am doing this with my grandfather and he wants the plant to become bigger before we start to flower i do beleave hes unaware how much they can grow during flowering)

second note im using a box fan and a honeywell sitting fan to keep my room ventilated as i cant put holes in the walls door or ceiling other then that i have been keeping the door open during light cycles to premote more ventilation

is there anything else i can do to help with the ventilation and should i possibly start the flowering now?


P.S. running a 400 watt HPS

Got some pictures finally here she is taking very well imo to the LST I know i started a little late on her for that but im taking over what my grandfather started and dont have the room to flower her without lst as i said before he wants to let it get alittle bigger before we go into flowering



The nutrients im using are I hope to get some dino bloom for flowering any suggestiongs/feedback or tips is more then welcome

That looks like an Indica strain so it will likely double in size once you begin flowering, so depending on the room you have, you can flower as long as you need. That food probably wont be enough for veg, and you definitely do not want it for flowering. You will want a lower N and higher P-K numbers.

any specific suggestions for nutes i should be using? and do you think i was alittle to late in starting my LST it was started today all thos pictures are recent

and in your opinion how big will it get and how much longer should i veg it if im trying to get atleast 2-3 zips

A little late on the LST, but you should be ok. What size pot are you using? Hard to gauge size from the pic without scale. I think you probably need a couple more weeks of veg, and work on your training. The you should be good.

I'd top rather then lst but idk that much. Lol

its in a 5 gallon bucket at the moment and yea i was thinking about 2-3 more weeks of veg to get it a nice bushy look

and gkd i would top it but as i said earlier im taking this over for my grandfather and he doesnt beleave in cutting the plants what so ever so working with what i can =P

I was also thinking of addind some Brer Rabbits Molasses the next time I water anyone know the pros/cons of using molasses?

And she is taking VERY well to the LST in my opinion her undergrowth is starting to shoot up and raise with the rest of the canopy went from 1 to 3-4 tops already

Heres an update, the pictures for the tops didint come out so ill have to take thos later but heres one of the stem taking well to the LST

going to FIM her tomorrow ill post pics asap and will possibly be taking some clippings for clones havnt decided on a veg room/light yet has to be pretty small and i dont have any more lights to work with really idk ill figure it out

Already have it Brer rabbits

but in other news just got some DR. Earth Bud and bloom 4-10-7 has anyone ever used this before for flowering if so id appreciate to know what method you used the box suggests putting it on the soil and watering or making a tea


picked up a 75watt CFL aswell for my veg room and a temp/humidity gauge

thanks in advance for your methods with Dr earth (never used powder like bud/bloom so it will be an experience =P )

on second thought untill this baby goes into flowering im waiting another week or 2 ill be using the blue cfl spectrum aswell to mix up the light spectrum on her and by the time i put her into flower ill have the money to get another so i can have one for my veg and 1 for my flowering

Fixed the problem she was just a bit thirsty next time around i need to add more perilite to my mix not enough drainage imo

Update: I went to a birthday party yesterday for my niece and right before i did around 12am i marked on the wall where the top of my plant was when i remeasured this morning she had grown 4 whole inches!

Retied her and fed a gallon of water and a tbs of molasses

a few more days and ill send her into flower i was thinking about doing it tonight but i havnt made up my mind yet

Correction upon further inspection of the plant i can barrrrly see preflowers showing shes ready =D
