Looking very good sir. She looks like shes been in flowering for a few weeks already. She should start to fattin up now :D

Nice looking grow, JHands.

I reread your first post - did the seeds come from your friend's hermie plant? If they did, I've read that there is a high chance that seeds from hermie plants are at a high risk of growing into hermies themselves. Have you read anything like that too? I hope that isn't the case.

On a positive note, you and I are only a couple days apart in our flowering cycle. I'm switching mine tonight.

Good luck, and I'll be following your grow.

ya thanks jim, that did cross my mind a few times before and after planting. so far it has been all good, no signs of a hermie. shes been stressed a bit herself too but its all been for the better.

deciding tomorrow on cutting down the short, untrained plant for the hermie fear.

too stoned at the moment to remember exactly how many weeks into flowering it is... ill check in later

picture here, for your enjoyment... and mine

check out my albums for more shots of the plant

thanks for stopping in

i switched her to 12-12 on august 3rd, just a couple days before you posted i think. it looks like my baby has adapted well to the change :)
basically ive got about 7 or 8 main bud sites and way over a dozen (maybe 2 dozen) other bud sites

Looks good, maybe a bit stretched, but can be expected during flower.
Otherwise looks pretty good. Next I'm around we might need to add a few more lights, or move some of em around.
Lots of square footage there to cover.

Looks great! I'd expect an O and a half maybe more! I love the light set-up, gives lights evenly to all areas.

Ya, after my first grow I learned it was better to have the bulbs horizontally for more light, so that was the idea I decided would work best.

Plus, power bars helps take some of the woes of having that much electricity.

As far as yield, we might even be getting to the near side of 2 ounces :) My girl was nothing near this, less light, less size, and it got about an ounce on its own. Anyway bout 4 weeks or so to go :)

Hey fellas, I'm starting a grow soon and this is essentially what I'd like to do. So I have a few questions for ya and D.tea

How many lights are needed exactly? and in what arrangement? also how'd u make that box with the lights in those positions? what'd u buy to plug into the power bars?

you can buy light bulb outlets that convert from a plugin. you can find them at most hardware stores, tsc home hardware etc. you can also buy light bulb outlets that convert one outlet to two
i started with 4 bulbs and added more (a couple at a time) when the plant got bigger and when i got more bulbs/powerbars
keep the lights over the plant as you normally would, if you look at my earlier posts you can see the photos when i started bending my plant
take a look at the pictures and shoot me some more questions

Hey man, just quickly reading through your thread.. you put some stones in the bottom of a garbo bag and just filled it with soil yeaha? Did you add drainage holes or anything?

Get those out of solo cups and into 2+ gallon planters asap. As much as everyone wants to talk a big game, you cannot get a huge harvest off of a plant in a solo cup. I have an experiment running now, same strains 5 plants - 1 in 5 gal, 1 in 4, 1 in 3, 1 in 2, 1 in 1. All germinated and planted the same day, watered exactly the same with the exact same lighting over top. The 5 gal is about 4 and a half feet tall whereas the one in the 1 gal is about 2 feet and very slender.

On the other hand, if you just want to try solo cups - be my guest you will still get good buds, just a lot less. lol
