no need to cut those roots just yet, put some peroxide in there, give them a rinse in cool tap water, not cold, the chlorine will help kill any fungus on them, only cut them when they are mushy black and brown. I think it is early enough that you will be ok.
i use food grade 35 % peroxide, you get it at a hydro shop or any health food organic store its about 20 buck a quart but it lasts a long time. If your selling it and not making hash for yourself you can use regular drugstore 3% peroxide.
Do you add that with every grow for preventative reasons or just when you see you need it. And if I added it to all my grows would it hurt at all. And if not why wouldnt everyone just do it?
most people use it for both , to fix something 1 tsp per gal day, to maintian a res and keep problems from occuring 1 tsp every 4 days. I use it all the time during every grow. It kils fungus and adds an extra oxygen to water. no it won't hurt as long as you don't add too much, it is an oxidizer, but it it water with an extra oxygen ,,h2o2
hery guys i just flushed my reservoiere since i measured that my water was at 250+ ppm without nutes.... it is at 100 now... i used filtered tap water..
should i add nutes to bring it up to 200ish? since i dont know what is wrong with my plants idk if they are over fed or under fed... it is weird since i havent added any nutes since i started them just used botteled water....
