Hey folks, I am super interested in getting into breeding so that I can maintain my strains as well as create some new beauties for my own purposes.
I basically know next to nothing on logistics, like how this is done exactly. I do understand Mendellian Genetics and how the Nomenclature works (i.e., F1, F2; S1, S2; BX1, so on). However, I need to know how to get started.
I currently have 3 Photo Females and 1 Feminized Autoflower, so I guess just 4 females lol. The auto is only about 3 weeks old, all outdoors and organic as always.
I would like help or advice on making new strains and stabilizing them. If I read right, you can increase your odds of stabilizing for certain sets of traits after multiple crosses? But there will always be variation in a species.
Where can I go, as novice breeder, to gain the best practices from an early start? Setting out on a solid foundation in knowledge is key, as there is so much bogus information out there.
Thanks everyone.
