First time auto grow

Hi everyone! First time growing auto and first time with sweet seeds dark devil auto. I've germinated in soil directely (3days for germination) any recommendations? Currently growing it in a 2x2x5 mar hydro complete kit tent (only planning on one at a time) also using a mars hydro ts1000 (i know its not much but it managed to produce enough for my personal supply which is all i want, i also have it on 50% setting atm will swap to 75%or 200% when into veg and flowering? any suggestions are welcome as I've been told not to train it or give it any nuts (which i want a mass opinion on) i look forward to everyone's comments and suggestions

You can train them i lst mine, but I don't top en, some people do, I find with the breeder I use most for my autos it only in veg for 3 weeks or so soni find its not enough time to re grow, as far as nutrients, for the first week I give just molasses water to help feed the mycorhaze in my promix bx, after that I give a root booster at half strength for a week then full strength for a week..then normal nutrients after that, I use sensi grow, big bud and over drive ..this is a moby dick autoni finished 2 weeks ago

I'm growing an auto and I would highly recommend LST to maximise your yield and it won't slow growth like topping or other high stress techniques. If you're going to defoliate do it gradually and not in one sitting and your plant will be fine.

If the medium has nutes in it then yeah don't feed for a while and follow the manufacturers recommendation. If it doesn't then feed them at quarter strength for a week or two, half strength for a week or two then up it if the plant is showing any deficiencies, if it isn't just stick at half strength.

Keep your environment consistent and don't take anymore advice from whoever told you not to train or feed your plant!

Take a look at my grow in my signature, thats an auto and I followed all of the advice above and its doing great.

Thanks for the heads guys ill definitely check out the grow diary aswell thank you Just a quick question should I keep my light at 50% while I'm germinating then swap to 75% when I start to grow and veg then 100% while flowering? I've been a bit confused by the setting tbh.

Your light is pretty similar to mine so:

Hanging heights:
Germination: 24″-30"
Seeding: 24″
Veg: 18″-24″
Bloom: 12″-18″

Light cycle for an auto:
Veg: 18/6 (on/off) or 20/4 (on/off)

I've left it on 100% and just hung it at the above heights depending on the growth stage.
