first stages of hermie

i guess my tent has a little light leak, my plants been budding for 7 weeks and theres barely any bud on it. i think its gone hermie on me. i dont see any male parts or banannas so it seems like im not too bad off. i found a couple small spaces where light may have come in so i covered them and am continuing the normal, any way it will fix itself and i wont have issues? like maybe keep budding for longer? ive gone through all options for why im having no weight on these plants and everything is great so light leak is my only other idea, check my setup:

5x5 grow tent
600w HPS
12/12 for past 7 weeks
floranova bloom for past 7 weeks
floranova grow for the veg stage (24hrs light)
happy frog soil
6.5 PH (checked with digital hannah gauge)
power kush strain
all female (only 3 plants in entire tent)
tent at 78 degrees
oscilating fans

even if there was a light leak the plant would still be budding, depends on how big the leak is i guess actually. I would fix the light leak and keep a close eye on it. If you dont see any male parts though, its not a hermaphrodite, just a really stressed out female probably.

+1 for that, i agree. i had most of the vents on the tent open and my friends parents (my setup is at a friends house) always go into the garage and turn the light on to do laundry and shit so the light was leaking into the tent from the vents i believe. we will see!

depends on the strain as well some are light sensitive and light leak will cause issues in flowering you will get less bud and it wont grow properly. I'm just finishing my current grow now and Im growing Purple Kush and all Kush strains are light sensitive but purple kush is apposed to be ultra light sensitive meaning if you have good lights it will make a difference with that strain but also if you have light leak it will cause more issues threw flowering. if you dont have a proper indoor grow tent then i would advise you to looking into getting one they are fairly cheap depending on the size or you can look for a alternative route of blocking light, but remember that airflow is also essential to plant growth and it will die without it so make sure you still have airflow if you decide to wrap up your current grow box

i bought my tent from the hydro shop, its a 5x5 and has a metal tube for the frame, mylar lined on the inside, more vent holes than i could imagine (all can be closed by a little pull string) and a cool little tray for the bottom to catch water and stuff. its a rlly effective tent in veg but this is my first bloom in it, i found all the vents were open and closed them. after 2 days, i believe im seeing improvement. i also had my buddy zip the tent up with me inside it, to make sure that it was 100% dark and you bet it is!
