hey this is my first attempt to grow at all basically. i have a 60 watt cfl along with a 100 watt cfl. its in a not big but not small bucket with drainage. planning on puttin 2 mangos in there from marijuanaseeds-nl. ( both cracked open. ) i plan on just having 2 small plants basically starting out the light cycle out at 12/12. this is just an experiment. i know i wont get alot of bud. but if i start out on 12/12 will it veg until its big enough to show sex? an how long would that be before it started to show sex? but then flowering will the plant get any taller? im using mirical grow organic soil along with mirical grow bloom pellets for when its flowering. i know to use only 1/4 or 1/2 reccomended strength. expecially because this will be a very small plant at maturity. i have 2 pictures of my tiny tiny setup. its the only plane i can do it right now. but i have 3 spots outdoors that im planting 3 durban posions next week . there germinating as i type. i just want all opinions and any help you guys should provide. now bout time to go smoke a blunt :blsmoke:

Are your lights actually 60 watt and 100 watt bulbs? Or are they just the CFL equivalents of incandescents (15 and 25 watts probably)?

Dude unles that is a autoflower strain you'll need to start at a light cycle that has a longer "Day" then "Night" If you are worried about heigth then go with 14-10 or 18-6 then switch to a 12-12 light cycle.

Don't use tin foil it looks like your walls are allready white... if not use white paper.

Don't over water.
Don't over feed.
and
Get one more 100w light and you'll be fine fore a small grow.

okay so i will take the foil off because my walls are white. but the bulbs are actually 60 an 100 watt blubs givin off probly around 2500 lumens together. an ill just start out veggin for a few weeks till it gets to grow strong. then switch to flower. i will update pics when i plant the seed tommmorow or the next day.

yeah if the total lumens is 2500 those are probably EQUIVALENT bulbs my guess 13w=60w reg, and a 23w=100w reg bulb, those will work for now id try and find more 100w or 150w equivalents for later

my mistake. hahah dont know much about the lighting thing. but i only have to places to set the bulbs. so ill probl end up buying 2 150w equivalents. but thanks. how long do you guys think i should veg for before putting it into 12/12 i want the least veg as possible. an how tall do you think my plants will be in the end?

It should be at least be 5-6" before you flower, If you go 24/0, or 20/4 on the light cycle they will grow that tall in a few weeks, I'd imagine the plants would grow slower

I know you have plans for one, but they need to be separated now. They are fighting for space and this is the most influential part of the life cycle.
