First Seed Grow - DIY CFL-tastic. The story so far

My 4 AK-48 plants have been in soil (from germed seed) for about 8 weeks, and after taking some cuttings last week and re-potting ready for flower last night, thought I best start a proper journal and get my pics up.

Stats:

Veg Room Cupboard

2'x3' ish, lined with flooring underlay (reflective and waterproof)
1 x 125w 6500k cfl
1 x 23w 6500k and 1 x 23 watt 2700k in alu cooking tray reflector
4 x AK48 plants in 11 litre buckets, organic soil
Evian mineral water with Biogrow feed, adjusted to 6.5ph

At 3 weeks I saw some signs of spider mites, but with a lot of hard work and regular cupboard cleaning and plant spraying, I have managed to keep this down to about 4 bite marks spread across the plants.

6 Clones have been in rockwool under a home made humidity hood, and have been sprayed regularly, and have just started showing white tips to leaves. Any thoughts??

The flower room is seperate and 90% finished. The two biggest plants will be going in there in about 2 weeks. Hopefully by then they will be about 18-20". Anyone grown AK-48, will it get massively tall during flower? I have about 5 ft grow height, and buckets are 18" tall alone.

My 4 babies went into the flower room on thursday... and now the countdown has begun!!! As you would expect there is not any obvious change, but they have had a little growth spurt. I put them into soil as seeds 8 weeks before, so I guess that's about 5 weeks veg. They are under 125w 2700k CFL with another 100watts side lighting half 2700k and half 6500k. There is still some tweeking of the light set up needed, to get the side lights closer, but that will have to wait till next week

Temps are running a little high, and when i get some money in the next few weeks, i'll invest in a proper extractor fan.

Right first things first, I'm making a note for myself... PLANTS WENT 12/12 on THursday 8th December... I kepp gettng confused and thinkng they have just finished there 4th week, when really they are starting... disappointing when you realise you'll have to wait an extra week

On the plus side, I am now thinking if the bud sites and glittering crystals are already like this, it's gonna be a happy harvest.

These pics are from 19 days at 12/12, in the past couple of days there has been more noticable development, and as this is my first real grow I feel like an expectant father right now

Also due to the heatwave we have at the mo, I still haven't been able to use the side lights, so all this is from a single 125w CFL

Welcome back to the loneliest grow, named as such cos it's had no love so far! Oh well, i'll just keep posting in the hope that one day it'll get some props
(hows that for a guilt trip!!)

These pics are from day 25 flower, about half way for these plants, and also one of my clones, which I didn't expect to all survive, and now I have too many, but thats not so bad They have been in soil just under 2 weeks.
