So this is my first run and trichs are mostly cloudy some clear and I'm at day 3 of week 8 of flower. Do these look ready? I wanna maximize yield and they keep chunking up but I don't want to loose too much potency. Any other tips are much appreciated!

-White Widdow (Growers Choice Seeds) 2 Fenos
-FFOF amended super soil
-5 gal pots (2 plants)
- 1500w phlizon Cree cob led
- Stopped feeding week 5

Those have a long way to go. You stopped feeding too soon. Ignore the breeders flowering times as they are rarely accurate. You can't just mark a date on a calendar based on those times. And you don't really need to stop feeding just taper it back towards the end.

It was slow release organic fertilizer so it probably took a week or 2 to break down, should I give it another top dressing or tea?

Thanks for the advice brother so what signs should I look for? I just looked again and there are some very dull amber, almost cloudy and probably 60/37/3 cloudy to clear to dull amber. Should I top dress again or give it a compost tea?

I wouldn't top dress anymore but a watering of compost tea every few waterings can't hurt.

Just by looking at the pistils is clear that the plant has weeks to go. You need to wait until most of the pistils turn and start receding into the calyx and the buds start swelling and getting more dense before you even need to start looking at trichomes.

Too many people going off trichomes alone harvest too early. You can find amber trichomes on plants that are not even close to being done. And some plants won't even amber at all so trichomes are not the holy grail for checking if your plant is done. I don't even look at the trichomes. I go by the look of the buds.

Good looks, thanks for the info! I'm glad I posted this, I was about to chop it next Friday.

You would have been a couple weeks early. Plants look decent. You'll get some good bud. Just be patient and don't harvest too early. You don't want to put in all the time and effort just to chop too soon.

Thanks man, and ya I'm gonna wait. So if I'm growing organic do I even need to flush? I'm using reverse osmosis water as well should I keep using calmag until the end? I stopped calmag week 6.

I don't believe in flushing and I don't use CalMag. But you're using RO water which I don't. I have Ca in my tap water and the nutrients I use. The point of growing organic is to grow natural. What are you going to flush out?

I would just give another dose of compost tea and then just water until the end. But it's hard to tell someone what they need or don't need without knowing what's been done during the grow. So don't take everything I say as necessarily the best thing to do. I have a disclaimer in my signature. :bigjoint:

But you're rounding third base on the way to home plate. Don't trip and you'll score a home run.
