Setting up my room now after a few months of practice growing. All went pretty good and after 3 months of reading all I could take in I am starting on my 1st real grow. I am starting with autos so I can have weed for the holidays. Only problem I had was heat, I live in a small mobile home, and the only way I can keep temps right is to run the a/c 24 hrs. and leave the closet doors open.Closet is about 2x3 ft. Was 5 ft. high so I raised the top another ft. higher. Got a 450WHPS with enclosed ballast, a 4" fan with duct running thru the wall into the roof vent. (gonna have to patch some holes when I move)Other closet is the same except 5 ft. hi.and I have a T5HO-4 2 ft. 24W lamps for vegging. But that closet gets too hot to shut the doors so I cant veg and flower in the same room ? Another reason I'm starting with autos. I bought my lites on the shop owners suggestion-they had a freakin fit when I started askin questions, They sell all the shit to grow weed but cant talk about it, told me if I mentioned the "MJ" word I would have to leave
I didn't have any idea, just like I didn"t know what I was buyin either. If I got an HPS with an outside ballast- would it cut down on the heat? All info greatly appreciated! So, gotta go finish settin my girls room up, see ya!
