Hi guys, so my long awaited rdwc setup is finally up an running, mixed solution on Friday, got clones on sunday, plants already looking healthier and roots are now submerged in the water..... But I'm concerned about the slimeyIMG_20230801_182150.jpg pipes I already have, is there something I should be adding other than the general 3 part hydro nutes?? Or is this normal.. Cause its only 5 days in and the pipes feel slimey, they are 20mm inside diameter so they won't easily clog. , bucket walls are not slime tho,

Are you using a preventative, and if so, which one?

This works too. I prefer Ca Hypochlorite to Sodium Hypochlorite because sodium competes with other positive ions. But in small amounts (like in urine) it works well and you only need small amounts.
as above if you need another answer, calcium good, sodium bad
True, but the amount of sodium introduced is so minuscule it's not a concern.
