First proper grow

thanks for the replys, first ive had in a while.

as for remove the balls i dont see them.. ive looked but all im not exactly sure what im lookin for.. i mean i remember what the balls on my 2 males looked like but theres none of those on the plant. the only anomoly growths i see are what looked like seed growths with brownish pistols, IF i remember right i havent looked for stuff in a couple days. ill update when the lights come on and i wake up tonight. i think my schedule to harvest in 3 weeks may be a bit low but we will see.

as a side note i cant wait to finish this one off and start my next grow.

ive went from near total ignorance to a good understanding of the process. and im ready to grow a good strain... i will be getting my new light together around the first of the month. i hope i will be finished with this one then, and ill start em up. i plan on germinating all 10 of my hindu kush seeds and 4 of my personal bagseed seedbank. i want to have at least 6 fems. i think the set up will be really nice from my current progress with this one. its the same principle, but i will be using all of my grow room.

as well i had problems through out this grow, small ones. overwatering here, high temps there, low humidity, plants being root bound, a ripped plant, i have a generally stressed plants from all of this and other stuff im probably forgetting. as it is my plant is still kicking and fairly strong for my inexperience.

i think what i like most about growing is the challenge. its like when i started playing poker, i just wanted to win. i wanted to learn more. i wanted to get all i could out of this project. and all my future project. i was also kinda depressed when i started growing, it gives you a nice way to channel your energy, gets your mind of things you need no think about. i absolutely can not understand why our government seeks to put us away in confinement just becouse we like to enjoy things that grow on this planet naturally. it just boggles my mind. this plant has to be one of the funnest to grow period. even if you dont smoke it. and the money spent on marijauna "crime". i cannot continue to rant cuz im getting mad. and i do all i can to avoid any pain or anger.

how did you get two branches like that my plant is 4 weeks from seed and only has 1 btw im new at growin

you can do that by topping or fimming your plant. its not that hard, just take off the top growth of your plant. generally its done when the plant has about 4-5 nodes. heres a nice article, topping and fimming 101 somewhere on here.

note how the one branch is very small... i cut ti just a bit too close. or it would be another big cola instead of a small one.

things are goin good, hit it with bloom booster the other day, hittin it with molases tonight.

im suprised at this plants height, its very small, it has to be very heavy indica. it could be from the lst'n earlier too. its just over one foot at highest cola. i dont mind that its small its ok.

its gettin quite smelly for a single plant. when the lights come on and im sleeping i have to get up open the door and go right back to bed. cuz i have no outgoing ventilation just a box fan, and about a 20 seconds after i hit the bed im treated to some nice nose candy.

the crystals on the bud and top leaves are looking nice. they arent that big but they are shiny.. a few pics below i took for another thread.

well im still seeing seeds.. im just gonna finish it out. it coulda got a little politnated from the 2 males or maybe pollen got in the room. i had a big fan on the 3 plants and when i found the males in my inexperince i scratched some of the balls off in the room, some busted maybe my room got polinated and its just a fem that got polinated... i dunno.

i just checked it after lights popped on. lots of pistols are changing purple/red not all of em nor are they toally changed. i need to get a good camera cuz im not sure how long its gonna take now, i have to plan a flush. i will no be feeding anymore nutes other than maybe molases, either way.

found 2 open pollen sacs on it a couple days ago. took em off as carefully as i could. gonna flush in a couple days. so ready to be done with this plant and get started on a proper crop.

here with the weekly picture update. it is day 49 of flowering i think. i got my buddy to get some pics on a good camera here they are . ill probably flush tommorow night.

do you the strain the top cola reminds me of the first plant i ever grew but it was some med bagseed

strain unkown, heavy indica. i just flushed. it was intersting. the plant started breathing.. once i started flushing and water built up in the pot air bubbles start POURING up outta the soil around the stem. not sure what to think about it.

getting lots of yellow leaves. pistols getting darker daily.

quick update.

pistols are around 40% brown. fan leaves are dropping off at least one a day.

im thinkin ill do about 24 hours of darkness before i chop. probably gonna do that in the next few days. i could probably chop now but i still havent got my next light set up so im not gonna do it yet. and its a hair soon...

thanks brendon, although i dont really see it i mean yeah its kinda pretty and the the colors on the buds look good but ive seen better. thanks for the support though!!

Anyway, on to the point. after going several spots lookin for a decent magnification implement, i finally had to go with a 15x one from radio shack was lookin for bigger but thats the best i could find. my trichs are about 80% cloudy or so. pistols are probably 60% brown or more. and seeing as im ready to be done. this morning when the lights kick off at 8am it will be pretty much the last light it will see. gonna give it at least 24 hours dark and chop it down. ill get some pics right before i go to bed and some pics of it right before chop, to document the dark chop but as it is my camera sucks so i doubt it will show much. anyway its finally harvest season if anyone has reasons not to chop soon feel free to speak up. im right at 2 months flower and 3 from seed. a couple days short really. my as well call it 3 months.

i forgot about the flies.. i have a small infestation of very small fruit flies, they stay mostly on the soil. i dunno what may have brought them about or if they are dangerous, anyone know if they pose much threat, i mean even this late? at least i think they are fruit flies, the are very small gnat like flies.
