First post moderated?

I tried posting a thread earlier today and it said I need moderator approval? I mean I know I am new here but I have never been to a forum that wont let you post a thread if you are new. I wanted to share my knowledge of growing poppies with the members here as I have at another forum. When might my post be approved? I tried to post it under the grow logs section. The thread doesn't even show up under my profile under "threads started".

Hmmm...perhaps it was because it was a log and not a forum post? I don't know...don't make logs only posts.

Well, I wanted to start a grow log for Papaver Somniferum (opium poppies) so that's probably why.

i don't think that's why, i just think it's the area that you tried posting it in.. i'm not familiar with that area at all...

maybe try it in the grow journal section instead.. give me a second and i'll get you a link m8..

in what area dogma?? this has nothing to do with your being new m8, the only limitations that new members get is no pm's for a certain amount of time, i forget how long, but every other feature is available to new members...

maybe try opening riu with a different browser and see if that helps things out at all.. other then that, i'm out of ideas..

Yeah I originally posted in the Grow Journal section and it didn't work, said I needed approval. I'll give your recommendations a shot and report back.

idk, that's just not making any sense to me m8... i know plenty of people have gj's about shrooms, so i don't see why poppies would be any different as they are legal to grow and all...

Yes, when members with fewer than 10 posts include a link in their post, our spam filter marks their posts as Moderated, and they will not show up until approved by a Mod.

Ah. ok. Good to know.

I finished updating the log with all the posts from the other forum. Apparently you guys have already been checking it out (132 views). Some of the formatting is a bit off and I'll fix it in time, but the info is still good. Thanks for the help here guys, hope you end up enjoying my thread.
