What's up everyone!? I've been lurking here a bit, but haven't posted yet cause I wanted to soak in the knowledge floating around first. I just wanted to say hello. I'm an experienced gardener, but I will probably need your help at some point.

I know there are better options out there for lighting, but I'm utilizing what I already have. I'm using an T5 HO 8 bulb fixture at 6500k color temp for veg, and will swap a few 2800-3500 for flower. I have one plant started(It's OG Kush) from seed on Dec 5th. Its 17 days old, am I looking on schedule?

I veg under an 8 bulb ho t5 also, no issues at all. havent even seen much of a par decline in years with that one. I flower under 1k hps and 600mh
 
Popped it into a gallon pot. She's looking good. Day 21 from germination.

Little update and a Northern Lights seed started. I also replaced the bulbs and went with 4 x 6700k and 4 x 4100k.

Nice plant,

looks like she is ready for training in a couple of days. Are you fimming or topping? I generally like to LST by tieing her top down once she gains 5-6 nodes. It tricks all the bottom nodes into thinking they can became the apical! Works great for SCROG.
 
Yeah I topped it. I'll train it a bit as it grows. It looks odd cause I popped a few of the fan leaves off cause they got some light burn. Got the light a little close a little early, but she looks good now.

The larger one needs training asap. Pull those taller branches down on either side to let some light down on the lower growth. Use some ties or whatever your've got. With CFLs its especially important. Or you could look at mainlining if your've got a spare month in veg.
 
It's an 8 bulb T5HO w/432 watts. Every inch of the plant is getting light. I may just leave this one be for a quicker harvest since I have a few other plants coming behind it. Thanks for your input. :)

Thanks! Yeah, I've been watching closely, but it's very hard to tell. I have another one going and a few clones of Nirvana Wonder Woman coming in a week so it won't be a big deal if I have to chop it.
