Question for the fellow Coco-Nuts. I am out of Rapid Rooter plugs and I want to drop a couple beans tonight. Can I just use regular coco like soil to start seeds in? Do I just pre-dampen it in Cal Mag buffered water? I have one of the Fiskars soil block tools. Wonder if I can make coco blocks?

I can't see why not. I've started them in paper towels. Just keep it moist.

Is one brand of calmag better than another for coco grows using RO water? I'm gonna run to town in the am and need to get a tray for setting up my drippers and I need to grab a bottle of calmag. I currently run maxigrow and maxibloom nutes. I may continue with those or I may switch to the floraflex line if that makes any difference in the calmag needed.

Also, here are a couple BOO and a couple Orangeadelic Autos in coco of course.

I did just notice this tonight in the 2 autos. Leaf tips curled down a little. I'm guessing too much N? They are currently getting about 400ppm maxigrow.

For those of you that run floraflex nutes in coco, are you still happy with them? I heard someone talking about some sort of change in their formulas and they had issues afterwards. Not sure what kind of timeline they were talking about so I'm not sure if its even a thing. I am just about out of MaxiBloom and it's time to get some more food, so I figure this is as good a time as any. I'm getting ready to flip the photos and the autos are well under way with flowering so I'll only need bloom nutes. What do I need to order just for the 12/12 cycle? I'll just tack em onto my order of miscellaneous irrigation parts.

Thanks in advance!!!

Pics of the ladies for attention!!!
