FIRST outdoor grow BUBBA KUSH

Looks like they are starting out just fine. The sativa is going to dominate in vertical height compared to your bubba kush, as most kush varieties are indicas (which will be more stout & bushier than the taller/lankier sativas). It is strain dependent, but in most cases, indicas actually prefer to be topped more so than sativas. I've found lots of sativa strains grow heavier if you let them go untouched n grow tall, christmas tree-like structures. Time will tell.

I would seriously rethink your choice to not feed your plants anything. It looks like the soil is more fertile than what's in my yard, but when you consider the rate mature cannabis consumes nutrients, it would be smart to at the very least purchase some organic slow release powders n sprinkle it around the base n mix into the top 3 inches of soil. Blood/Bone meal mixture would be good, finishing with bone meal only at the end. I actually use that, along with liquids and they just thrive.

As for the rabbits, it seems with unprotected outdoor that you are exposed to many factors that could destroy your crop. If you don't want to throw too much at it or maybe want to keep it more low key, you can simply put mesh wire around the plants to try and fend them off that way. There's also ecosmart deer/rabbit pellets that have a strong scent that resembles dead animals, which makes them stay away as they think there's a predator near that area. If you start to really take outdoor seriously in the future, you gotta make the step up to a GREENHOUSE setup. I'll post some pics below to inspire you.

Best of luck! =)

Bad news
my kush is getting nibbled on by beavers on the bottom main stem .
im not sure if he'll make it .
yes one of the kush turned out to be a boy.

my sativa got fucked up ..
the stupid beavers ate the four biggest main colas ..
im stuck with a little bitch plant,
that probably wont even yield over a 1/8.

the 5th picture from the top left is of the stem that is getting eaten.
i put a stick beside it to support it and help it out.
