First 'official' cfl Grow and need to know how it looks in the flowering stage

This is my first official grow indoors using either bag seed or a seed found in some OG kush stash that i had.

The plant has been under 8 23W cfls (8 day light cfls for vegging, and 6 soft light and 2 day light cfls during flowering). I've been giving it nutes from 1/8 concentration of miracle gro all purpose plant food up to almost full concentration by the end of the vegging stage. Now i am currently giving it miracle gro bloom booster during flowering and am continuing it like i previously used with the fertilizer during the vegging stage.

The plant stands 23 inches in the pictures and is clearly a female, and from the structure of the stalk and leaves it appears to be mostly sativa strain.

The temperatures are at a constant 74 degrees and i have a fan on medium power outside its enclosure to circulate the air around and inside of the growing space.

Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated. Im just having the hardest time determining when to stop feeding it nutes before half or more of the pistils change. They say to leave 14 days in advance of straight distilled or reversed osmosis water before harvesting your plant. If anyone thats skilled in this department and could help me out that would be awesome.

I forgot to mention its been switched over to flowering and is on a continuous 13/11 light cycle.

The plant stands 25 minches in this other picture. This is the most recent pic of her (disregard the other pic)

More pics of the plants and up close buds are coming soon! i apologize for the shitty quality pics, their from my phone.

nice lookin greenery. keep up the good work! about flushing... note the date you switched her to flowering. she'll mature close to 9 weeks from then. so at week 7 of flower, stop all nutes. done. if your thinking it'll be earlier or later, adjust accordingly. it's not a perfect science, she just needs time n water to rid herself of the nutes. you could flush for a week and still be good.... good luck

I've got one big porblem...The area im growing in will only be vacant for another 3 weeks or so and im wondering if theres a way to speed up the maturing process or am i going to have to move to another location to finish out to the plant's full potential? Also, if i were to hravest early, how bad would it be to harvest premature buds?

unfortunately, youre going to have to move to a different location if you want anything to come of your efforts at all. premature buds suck to smoke even if theyre only a few weeks premature, and it seems like yours will be several weeks premature! :?

Nice looking plant man. That plant wont be anywhere near ready in 3 weeks. best bet is to either trash it or try to get it to the new location. Would really suck to see that plant go though but its better than jail if you cant get a safe spot for it. :peace:

Heres some pics of week week 3 day 1 of flowering.

Sorry for the poor quality pics and low resolution, im in the process of acquiring a real camera to use and not my phone.

I do have one question at this point so far...Half of the top pistils on the budding site towards the top of the plant are turning a purple to dark purple. Is this because of the temperature conditions or because its the strain or posssibly maturing?

:leaf: That's a great looking plant bro. I have two that look very similar to yours. I kept my two girls smaller though. I'm in the second week of flowering.. but since I only gave these two about 12 days of veggin.. lol. They haven't started budding yet. Both plants are 5 weeks old as of today. Still no buds.. but I can see preflowers and I know both are females. Woot. Can't wait to see the buds... Patience... :) :leaf: I'm gonna go burn one. peace.

Flowering- Week 3 day 3

Here are a few pics. The pic with the white hairs is on the lower portion of the plant. The pic of the purple and pinkish colored hairs are at the top 6 inches or so of the plant. The rest are just of a few different angles and different portions of the plant.

The plant stands at 27 inches. Hopefully these pics will be of better use to you to assess my plant. There taken from an actual camera.

I do have one concern about the pistils on the top 6 inches of the plant are turning a dark pink to an almost violet purple. Is this due to the strain of the plant or due to varying changes in temperature? The stems as you can see are purple. And the lower bud sites on the bottom are still white and premature.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Early pictures look more Indica to me, my sativa fan leaves are alot slimmer. I vegged mine for a very long time and just switched to flower 2 days ago. It might be ready by christmas....lol... Patience is key. Can you get some higher watt 2700 k bulbs? I have some rated at 65/300 watts. And mine absolutely loves a fan blowing over it.

Ganjaluvr i've been flowering for 3 full weks and now onto the fourth week. I'm actually not using a 12/12 light cycle, but rather a 13/11 to encourage more vegetative growth (I read about it on some forum).

Medicinal i'm currently growing what appears to be this seed i got from this purple bag. I'm not positive if it was purple erkle or what strain to be exact, but the final product was exceptionally nice. The plant is starting to become snowy and looking very nice. I'm not exactly sure when to consider flushing my plant two weeks in advance before harvesting. Do i wait til 50-80% of the pistils turn pinkish/purplish?

MikeGolfer do you think that its mostly a sativa then? How long do you think at the stage its in now will take to fully mature and be able to harvest? Is there any methods to increase the rate of maturing? I heard about something relating to a 10/14 light cycle to quicken the process...but i need feedback pon this if anyone knows about this.

More pics are coming real soon...also with close up shots of the suculent growing buds!

I just got my hands on some ff fertilizers for flowering (big bloom and tiger bloom). Should i switch my fertilizers at this point of flowering? The plant is about 4 1/2 weeks into flowering and is currently at 1/2 dosage of miraclegro bloom booster.

More pics shold be up later today
