First major consequence of Scalia's death: Public sector unions survive.

I have no idea whether or not you have great selling ability. You work for an industry that is a parasite. IF you are any good at selling you are wasting your time working for that shitty business.

What speaks volumes about you is how you brag about only working 30 hours a week for basically a real estate scam, then bash honorable labor and the rights of others to collectively bargain. That is what makes you a shithead.
I have mediocre selling ability. Its a craft and I'm honing it. When youre green you grow and when you're ripe you rot.

I engage in honest work. We don't steal from our clients. Everyone of mine would come and buy from me again, many have. I'm starting to get repeat business.

Those aren't the hallmarks of sheister.

But I do work with people who 'pitch heat.' That's the trade term for lying to induce a sale. And the two people my company has fired at my site at my time here were for that reason.

The small timeshare companies are the scum of this industry. The big boys play by the rules.

A good timeshare company is an oxymoron. Soooo ethical how your company plays by the rules except sometimes bad actors don't.

50% mark up. HALF of the sales price is gorged on by you and the cretins you work for. You can't tell me your company doesn't do it, I read your brag about about your commission. And how you don't put much effort into your work. Cut the BS. Timeshare is a waste of consumer dollars that would be better off in a bank.

And you have the nerve to scoff at honest work.

According to Jason Tremblay of Timeshare Authority, you pay a high markup when you buy a timeshare from the developer. It typically runs about 40 to 60 percent. This covers building the timeshare development, marketing costs, including advertising, and incentives used to lure you and others on tours, and sales person commissions. Rogers explains this means buying a timeshare is a bad investment, similar to buying a new car. The vehicle loses a great deal of its value as soon as you sign the contract and drive it away. The same thing happens to a timeshare, which typically sells for about half of what you paid or even less.

According to the title of this thread, unions can only survive when they can force people to pay dues they dont want to pay.

So, it is an extortion racket....

And the now liberal court is cool with it.

I dont think I was that obscure...

I split the 28k deal, meaning the TO got 30% of the commission on that deal.

I had the 17k all to myself.

17k + (.7x28k) = 36 k change in volume to base the commission on.

In other words I have credit for 36k in sales.

let's make this simple. how much was the sale?

There were two that week. I'll see if I can explain how commission and split deals work.

Deal 1 was 17 and change and deal 2 was 28 and change.

Together that is 45k

But I brought in a TO on the 28k deal. They get 30% of the commission.

So my volume (revenue) was 28×.7= 19.6

So my commission base / volume for those two deals is that 19 plus 17.

Hope that helps.

5 am now, getting ready to go get another one.

We're ranked by vpg. Volume per guest. For that purpose you just count the total deal, no splits. So for that week I had 5 guests, got 2 of them for 45k total. That's a 9000 dollar vpg. Its like batting average in baseball.

I had a good week. My vpg for the year is 6400. Some weeks I blank. Most weeks I get at least one. Sometimes I get two... One week I got 4. Never had three.
