First low budget closet grow///how am i doing???

ok today plant-3's second from top leaves started to droop on one side (pics coming tonight/tommorow) i think it may be from the new fertilizers because i never used any before flowering now ive only watered them once with it and the rest look fine but this one only on one side the leaves are drooping any ideas would be a great help

yeah i got one just down the street im gonna go by tommorow and check it out im gonna grab 4 so what wattage should i use for my 4 plants ... also when i get a bit more money i see these socket things that screw in to a socket and then has 2 (and i seen 3 also) spots for bulbs to go in so later on ill grab 4 of those and 4 more cfl's so let me know what wattage u think i should use for the plants

Well being your going to Walmart...

Those would be brilliant (pun intended)


OK so at 2,600 Lumins per bulb, x4 bulbs that makes 10,400
They recommend 10,000 for growing pot so your good.
Of course Lumins dont add that way and it will depend on distance to plants etc.
but a LOT better than the incandescent bulbs you are now using


Remember "Daylight" for Veg and "Soft White" for Flower.

by the way one more question for now if i get the 8 42 watt cfl's within the next week do you think i will still get a decent yeild and if so how much do you think the plants will produce (mainly the biggest one) i guess it might be easier to tell once i post newer pics haha and once i find out if there girls but have i done some bad damage with the 75 watt grow lights incadacent equivelent to 150 watt and i have 4 i know its made them stretch but has it messed there growth rate up or anything else?

Hard to say what could have been dude,
who knows maybe they would have stretched with better light anyway?
No way to really know. Remember to get the "Soft" white bulbs
if you intend to use them now during flowering.
You can just pick up some Daylight ones for the next grows veg part later
(after you sell the rest of that pound)

Yeild is very hard to guess at this point but if left to fully ripen with those new lights it should not be shoddy.
Anything you get will be better than what you had at the start right?
And slowly you are gaining the experience and tools to do even better next outing.
Looking forward to when they sex out and I am praying for girls for you friend.

yeah i tape the door everyday but i have 25 rolls of electrical tape so it doesent bother me haha no i havent checked em yet but i will soon

this thursday i will have 4 42 watt cfls 150 watt equiv. and possibly the 4 2 way bulb connectors and 4 more of the same light and can i get the 42 watts in cool white or what?

and by the way more pics tommorow morning im takin em sometime after i wake up from partying hahah ill smoke a bowl for you all so check in tommorow and see the updates

Cool white for vegative growth Soft white for flowering.

well pics are in and here we go finally in week 4 hoping they will show there sex soon if not then soon after i get the proper bulbs but there all doin fairley welll ....

plant-1 -2.5 feet very tall i tyred moving the light closer to it but no effect it still is growing taller and taller this may be because of the strain i have no idea but the new lights are coming soon anyways ... it now has 8 nodes almost a 9th ... water level high ... darker green at bottom lighter at top looking really good i think tho ... secondary growth slowed
plant-2 - doing well 16 inches growing ok 6 nodes working on 7th water level good not much change in this one secondary growth slowed
plant-3 - 21 inches tall looking good except for leaves drooping does anyone know what this is ... i though mabey because of the lights ... 6 nodes nice 7 sets growing
plant-4 - looking pretty good now looking like 6 nodes now doubled since topping and 13 inches tall and teh top now split into 2 im thinking this one will show sex first

all pics are of the 4 pics and are in order of 1-4 excluding the first which is of the 3 mostly but 4 is cut out


tell me what you think and more pics in a week and ill have the new lights by then so thanks in advanced for the input and let me know what you think THANKS

Looks like he will get some nice buds from it still.
They are Sativa so they will get tall and take a while to ripen up but well worth the wait.
keep takin' good care of your girls and it will turn out well

wow, those plants are stretching somethin fierce. im gonna have to keep a watch on this to see how it comes out with new lights. i had some problems with crap lights too man. when you start new plants and notice the difference decent lights make you will be pleased.
