Hello,
RIU university!

I will be setting up my first LED grow and like most newbies I have tons of questions and would love any advice you could offer. So far I have my viraspectra par 600. And a 36x36x 72 grow tent. I'm ready to start growing already but waiting on my seeds to be delivered. I'm thinking of adding a 6 inch carbon filter and fan combo. But I have questions about needing another duct fan. Also I'm researching how to get the most yield out of my plants. Will I need another light? What other materials would you all suggest I invest in? Plzzzz no rants about hps or Cobb bs.

That light unit is 285w (real world draw) so should give a reasonable delivery of light, as to other lites, you will need at least some type of veg light to bring on yer cuts/seeds without tying up yer main grow space for weeks every cycle. Worth mentioning filters are only absolutely neccesary last 2-3wks of flower as this is when 90% of the smell is produced.
p.s.cobs are far better!

I have 2 leds in 3x3 tents you're doing the right thing by getting in there & doing it as far as a second light I use a 4- bulb 24" t-5 to have another plant up & coming while my main grow finishes I have a cob in one tent & a blurple in the other I like them both IMG_2788.JPGIMG_2789.JPG

If you want the most yield you will need to replace the blurple.

6" extractor and filter will do fine.

Hydroponics is a must.

80-85° F

60-65% RH; 45-55% RH late flower

Don't over-feed, don't under-feed.

Don't pee on your plants, I don't care what anyone says.

I have a 12w cob fer my clones/freshly potted cuts and a 60w cob for final vegging before movin em into the main space and NO! just say no to blurples! esp ones that are called 600 but only draw 300w, its misleading to the point of fraudulent imo. Better to buy the best you can afford and build your system over time, @CobKits on here does some nice semi-assembled cob units, for veg you would be better with one 50-100w cob than 200+ watts wasted on blurples.
