Hello everyone,
This is my first grow with LED. I'm using the Diamond Star 200W (3w diodes) (180w) since about one week from seed. I started it out on a 250W MH for the first week then moved her in with the LED and the grow tent. I started the seedling at 30'' from the light and as it has started to grow taller she's gotten up to 26.5'' form the light and since then her vertical growth has slowed down somewhat. I can move the light up higher if needed but I can't seem to fathom why since it's still a good 26'' away from the light. Also I've been seeing a bit of white tips on the edges of the top leaves, would that be an indication of the light being to close? If so at what distance should a vegging plant be from a 200W LED. I'm planning on setting up the SCROG sometime this week to keep the plant short if she ever grows taller that is. Today she's about 19 days from seed and she has 5 nodes going on 6 and she's only about 5 inches tall. She otherwise looks healthy, all green and sturdy stems. Anyone has any insight or tips please let me know. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.
