I'm using 12 1650lumen cfl's 4" away from the plant(each plant has one light). they sit over 5 gallon pots. currently I'm 4 weeks into the process however nodes are few and stems are red. i was wanting to know if there are any problems since i am using pro-grow and just started using super-thrive added in. I'll post pictures when i can but till then i'll just ask.:weed:

daylight bulbs are a blue spectrum that are 6500k (which are what you want for veg)...if you got anything like a soft white or warm white you have more of a red spectrum that are 2700k ( which are good for flowering)...it usually will say it on the bulb...i know GE says if it's not on the bulb it is or around 2700k....i made the mistake of using the 2700k bulbs at first and my little buddy didn't grow good at all...but i switched to the 6500k and it grew twice as big in a week then it did in a month..

they are warm white bulbs so i'll look around for the 6500's thank you. also i tried to transplant yesterday and now the plants are all drooping almost at a 45 degree angle at the leafs. they seem still healthy(no leafs
are dying) is there anything i can do?

good news i replaced the bulbs. 6500 are far brighter btw. my plants all came through and seem to be doing fine can i still use the 2700's for flowering stage i might run 3 cfl's per plant. i figured the hps would be too expensive to buy and shipping stuff over the internet takes forever so if anyone knows otherwise PST.

oh hell yeah..the 2700k is what you want for flowering....good to hear they came out of their funk ..you should start to see some decent growth with the 6500ks
