First Indoor Grow! Needing Advice.

I finally decided to make the jump into cultivating my own plants, instead of buying the end product. I have a nice sized area under my house that I would like to put a grow tent in. I have narrowed the selections down a bit, and I would love to get your input on what would be my best option.

Also, I am big into saltwater reef aquariums, and I have several 165watt full spectrum LEDs laying around, along with multiple four bulb T5HO fixtures. would either of those work?

I am also considering the 600 and 1000w complete kits from HTG. They can be found here:

However, the add on Filter /fan combo costs an Additional 105.00, so total less shipping is 673.40

For the 1000w version it is an extra 117 for the 4 inch fan duct work and tall boy carbon filter. Honestly on something this large, I would think that I would want the 6 inch version which is 168 more. Grand total less shipping is 779.94


Now they do have these same tents on Ebay, that come with free shipping, but no canister filter or fan.

Also, I have ten seeds of Fem Northern Lights. After that I am out. THere are no growers around me that I would trust, so can any of you recommend a good online seed bank. Right now I am looking at Herbies. They have really good prices it seems.

What is everyone's thoughts?

Get a 600 or 1000. Get the whole set up. use your other lights to keep the strongest plant you get as a mother. Then learn to clone.

OK. I think I am going to go with the 600w HTG complete kit, with add on fan with inline carbon filter. Do you think that will be good for me? Im not looking to make money, just grow my own. So I do not need a huge set up.
