I have 4 plants and there growing nicely. But I noticed I had this rack thats about 4 feet long, with 2 4 ft bulbs in it,they give off a white light and my plants are currently under that (The heads are close to the lights but not TO close) Do these sound like lights to grow with? if not how can I tell?

gonna need more info about the lights and what stage are they in, veg or flowering? this can dictate what lights to use, and you also need to pay attention to the lumens and the light spectrum of the bulb for veg you want higher bulbs 5K and up while flowering you want2700K, usually people mix and match to find their own preferred style. hope this helps!

For vegging and cloning of cutting or seedlings, use 6500k cool white plus bulbs, preferably T8, unless you have a T5 light (unlikely if you don't know)

As Vic said, some like to mix the cool white bulbs with warm daylight bulbs as the plants can ideally use both.
