First indoor grow, coco coir, blackjack

Hey guys, i have done one outdoor soil grow before and had a great harvest. I am now starting up an indoor grow in a 2x4x8 space in a closet. I am currently using a 400W MH/HPS cool tube reflector, with Eye hortilux bulbs, and a 540 CFM inline fan for exhaust which i've lined up to a hole in the ceiling that blows into the attict. I also have an air purifier and some oscillating fans in there. All of the walls are covered with mylar.

I am doing a grow with Feminized blackjack seeds from Nirvana. I started two seeds off in Jiffy seed starters, and will be growing two plants. I am growing in CANNAcoco and am using the CANNA nutrient line:Rhizotonic, COCO A+B, Cannazym, and PK 13/14. It is a handwatering system, not hydro. I have a Hanna pH tester, PPM meter, temp/hygrometer, a reverse osmosis purifier, and cal/mag to add to the pure water. Right now my light cycle is 20/4 and i will move it down to 18/6 once i transfer the seedlings into their permanent homes in coco coir in 3 gallon smart pots.

Both seeds germinated and one sprouted but the other wasnt, i checked on it and while doing so, i accidentally broke the taproot of the seed, so that one was done. I germed another seed and just put it under the light in a ReadyGRO super propogation plug and put it inside a humidome.

I will be updating my grow log often, and for now, here is a few pics of my setup and my seedling, lookin pretty damn healthy to mebongsmilie

can somebody please tell me what is wrong with this plant. i have checked all the plant problem guides and cant figure it out. i left for a night and when i came back my plant was under-watered and wilted, it looks better now from that stand-point, but the leaves are twisted in weird directions and pointed upwards, as well as there being an odd light-brownish color covering them. the pH of my water/nute solution is 6.1 and my temp is 80F, my humidity is 40%. all of my other seedlings look perfectly fine. what is wrong?:!:

Check out my journal I have a whole page on identifying problem in coco.
start with 5.5 ph R.O. water.water 3 times the amount of mass or for your little girls I would half to full gallon.when lowering ph let set for 30 mins and check again it will change with as water is not have as much air in it also the temp changes ph level.water for 4 to 6 day till your certain you have flushed all nutrients out some yellowing is ok.do this if you have added nutrients to those small plants then do not need them yet again once they start to yellow on day 5 or 6 your at square one to feed nutrients without lock up start LOW no more than 200 ppm or 250 ppm NO MORE or you will stress them out.
Good LUCK and Happy Growing

The blackjack died, so i planted another one and got some more seeds out of a REALLY dank Trainwreck strain that was from the clinic. I planted 3 of those suckers along with one more feminized blackjack 2 weeks ago in ReadyGro Super Propogation plugs. The trainwrecks are a few days behind the Blackjack, and one Trainwreck popped 3 days before the other two, so it is ahead. Last thursday i transferred them into a 70/30 Coco:perlite mix and they are loving it. This is an update w/ pics of their progress. They all look fantastic and healthy to me. They are currently on 1/4 strength of CANNAcoco A+B, Rhizotonic, CANNAzym, Cal/mag, and MycoMadness(beneficial bacteria) they are fed with the nutes at every watering which is every 2-3 days atm. The pH of the feeding is 5.8.

It's been a while since the last update, but this is a good one! Plants are all around 13 inches tall, havent had any problems as of yet. I have been foliar feeding with neptunes harvest.
All plants have been topped, which all responded to differently, the blackjack was fimmed and only grew one shoot where i cut it, but it branched out like crazy with new shoots.
I created the DIY fermentation CO2 generators, as you can see in the pics(2L coke bottles) and they responded explosively to this, doubling daily growth
The two plants on the left (fem blackjack and Trainwreck) have shown female preflowers!!!! YES! :) When do u guys think i should flower?:blsmoke:

THEY LOOK GOOD!! xD. flower when ever you want.. depending on genetics they could easily double in size during the stretch. i like lettin mine go for an extra long while in veg. im no expert on strains, so just be sure you got teh space and enjoy watching them grow.

sounds about right, id let em get a little bigger than 2 feet and bend em if you need to. just be careful not to bend em too much and snap something ;p i really dont think youll have any problems as good as these babies look

The plants have now been in 12/12 for 3 weeks. The blackjack is 37 inches tall and the trainwrecks are both 41 inches tall. They are now under a 400W HPS bulb and i also added a T5 6500k fluorescent bulbs on two sides of the room for supplemental light. I have upped the nutes to 800PPM and the plants are doing fantastic. I havent had any problems as of yet and there are budsites EVERYWHERE. Here's some NUGPORN for u guys. tell me what ya think. The trainwreck with one main cola is not in these pics but looks exactly the same as the two cola trainwreck, just one bigger cola:peace:bongsmilie

I know it's been a while since the last update, so my apologies, i have been very busy lately. The plants have now been in 12/12 for 6 1/2 weeks. I put my MH bulb back in to get extreme density and resin-production out of my buds, and because it is an EYE Hortilux and puts out more lumens than my standard HPS bulb. The untopped Trainwreck must be a slow-flowering pheno because it is way behind the other trainwreck and the Blackjack, but it has recently started to really fatten up quite nicely.

I still havent had any problems. Everything has been smooth sailin. The Blackjack has many side branches that have extremely dense, crystally buds on their tops. On the top of the topped Trainwreck the cola is very thick but not very long.

I am trying to decide when to start flushing the Blackjack(which looks more ready) and the topped Trainwreck. Anybody have any ideas on when i should harvest?????????????

I have ordered seeds of Sensi Seeds Big Bud for my next grow and plan on growing one huge plant, anybody have input about this strain??

Also, if anybody has any tips on how i could have used certain techniques to maximize my yield and grow, please let me know as i would like to get the most possible out of my next grow bongsmilie
