Just started my first indoor grow room on 9/21/12, measuring at 2-1/2 x 4ft x 8 ft. I have a 400W HPS with 6 females in it. I am using fox farm fert and General Hydroponics Maxi Bloom.

I have 4 White Widows
1 SFV OG Kush
1 Purple Ak-47

Here are the heights of each plant on day one of 12/12.

SFV OG Kush is at 28 inches
Purple Ak-47 is at 28 inches
White Widow 1 is at 25 inches
White Widow 2 is at 23 inches
White Widow 3 is at 22 inches
White Widow 4 is at 21 inches

These are all clones. After day one on 9/22 they already started showing white pistals on all 6 plants.
This was a supprise because I had a WW from the same group of clones and I had it outside and it took about
2 weeks to start showing pistals.

I know this is a broad question but can anyone possibly take a good educated guess on what kind of yeilds I may get
off of these females.

Just for thought I had a WW from the same group of clones a few months ago out side. I put here out in October and she was
at 14 inches when she was finished she was at 19 inches. She was ready after 6-1/2 weeks and I got 22grams of dry out of her.
Good tast, burn and smell. I harvested when the trichomes were at about 80% milky white the other 20% were amber and clear.

I also have a 1000W HPS but I think it might be overkill for these 6 females not sure.
I have pictures but can't seem to get my USB working to upload them, as soon as I do I will upload some.

Here are some of the pics from my grow and clone area. I tried to get some shots of the pistals but the camera I have sucks and wont focus good.

The shots with the yellow looking back ground are the 6 females I currently have in 12/12.

The shot's of the smaller plants in red and black containers are the females I currently have in my clone area. They are White Widow, GDP, Blue Dream, and Sour Diesel.

There is one shot of some plants that are much bigger they are my mother plants the big one to the right is my GDP.

3 weeks into my grow today. I took some pics of what I have.

Need some help though, I am currently running a 400w HPS on these females and they are growing tall the light is about 1 foot above them. My grow room is only 4ft x 2ft x 5ft high.
I have a 1000w HPS should I use it instead of the 400W. It seems that my females are really taking up room area and the light is not really penetrating as well as I hoped.
Would using the 1000W be overkill or should I stay with the 400W.

Notes:
Here are the heights of each plant as of 12/12 today.

SFV OG Kush is at 37 inches
Purple Ak-47 is at 35 inches
White Widow 1 is at 30 inches
White Widow 2 is at 31 inches
White Widow 3 is at 31 inches
White Widow 4 is at 30 inches

I think I can, if I keep the heat under control would it be worth using the 1000w or just stay with the 400w

yes, Just keep it a little higher than you would your 400. As long as you can keep your temps down you have nothing to lose by using the 1000W in that size space

here are some pics at 4 weeks in.
