i love the setup but your girls are not very happy it looks like the temps is the cause! where is your thermometer at? it might be too hot for those girls directly under the light. it might be nute burn or a deficiency but the pics arent very clear. try taking some pics with blue/green light instead of hps. hope you figure it out man ill try to help you if you get new pics

that is probably heat stress man, can you make the room cooler? at the pots it should be like 70-75 and no more than 85 at the canopy. besides that what have you been feeding her?

i dont think it heat stress i run about 85f with no probs.....looks like lack of something and or nute burn...i say flush WITH PH'ED WATER around 5.5-6.5 untell ur run off comes out the same...then feed lighty and give them a few days..MEANGREEN.

thats similiar to how my plants were looking when i was feeeding them tap water at 8.9.. i got a lot of browing , crispiness, and it mimicked heat stresss. flush flush and flush. wut kind of ph monitering are u using? hope its digital, cause i thought 8.9 was 7, when i was using my vial tester and color chart. also dolomite lime around the base of the stem can help bring down the ph. hope that helps. if its the ph and u flush real good, u should see them perk up within the week

ya i think its the safers 3 - 1 spray and a defiant nut burn! i flushed them a few days ago and now there looking a lil better but not all the way yet! i was actually using phed filtered water to feed but flushed them in my bathtub so i had to use tap water! i plan on getting some sort of ph tester soon! hey by the way do you guys think i need another inline fan?? thanks for all your replys guys hope you subscribed, this is gonna be a fun and interesting one and hopefully some dank! ill post pics a couple times a week

heres some pics, the first 4 are day 3, and the last pics is day 7! ill get some better pics and post them tomorrow

first four pics are day 3 and the last four are day 7

very nice my man, looks like you can get the bulb to the middle of the canopy. i see a bunch of light reflecting on one side but the other seems to be hurting on light coverage. besides that they look real nice compared to last pics

good oberversation, im gonna move it a foot closer, thanks

hey i have a thread in the forums about cooling my tent but noone has told me if i need a inline or something, as you can see my setup is in the pics above^^^^^ last night my tent was 95F thats way too hot! and that was at night, it gets hot in cali unfortunatley! do i need another inline fan somewhere or wat else do i need to keep it cooler and more ventalated?

i was gonna get an air conditioner but that means i would have to call and electrian to wire up anotyher break and outlet! so this is my last resort

thanks everyone

yo umm you can try to cooltube your hps or get an aircooled hood that sucks out the hot air from the ballast using a fan.

if your room temps are decent 70-85 then more ventilation will work for you, if your room is over 85, its gonna be very hard to keep it under 90 and a a/c would be very beneficial. Get more exhaust power to suck out the hot air and make sure you have enough passive intakes to replace that hot air. that being said i think you can work it out.

About moving the light, i meant closer to the middle of the canopy and not closer to actual plants, that will only increase the heat for them. you probably knew what i said and i misunderstood ur response. Hope this helps man, keep em strong!!

ya i know what you meant lol im moving the hood to the center, well i have a radiant air cooled hood, it exhausts out of my bedroom through a window! i have no air blowing into my tent tho! im just exhausting it through my hood out the window its still 95f! do i need another inline fan for blowing air from my bedroom into the tent???? so pretty much i just have a exhasut for mt tent blowing anything in there out my window, i though that would help for the heat!

ok all you need is more exhaust fans, as long as you have passive intakes(holes) to let air in it will ventilate better using exhaust fans instead of intake. also if you dont get a fan in there moving the airs around, didnt see one in the pics. all these should work great as long as your room temperature is under 85!

i have 1 small fan in there i planned on getting two circulating ones for each corner tonight at walmart! um i have 3 holes in the tent on the bottom! and just the exhasut hooked to my hood! so i need more exhaust not a intake going in my tent to maybe cool the plants??? sorry for all the questions this is my first grow and im a newb!

yes more exhaust and more intake if needed. get a 400+cfm fan will probably cost you a few but it will cool that thing nicely. check this vortex on ebay for a very decent price man

http://cgi.ebay.com/VORTEX-6-INCH-4...-SHIPPING_W0QQitemZ200298818175QQcmdZViewItem

and where would i put this??? so do i need it for a intake bringing air into the tent or do i need this for a 2nd exhaust to blow air out my tent out my window???????? isnt there a certain ratio like.... more exhasut than intake or more intake than exhasut is supossed to be needed???? by the way mr room is 240sqft, thanks everyone + rep

heres some pics i took this morning....the last three are of some that i tied down cuz there getting to close to the light, did i do it CORRECTLY? im gonna tie some more tonight when the light turns back on
