First harvest....ever! What do ya think?

Yo RIU, well bored at work today, so I figured I'd post some pics from my harvest last saturday....what do all of ya think? Wet it weighed just over 16oz, so I'm thinking I'll get around 4 once properly dried and cured. No idea of the strain, I'd geuss a kush of some kind becuase of the bud formation, but I'd love to hear what everything else thinks. Tried a sample last night, and before I knew it 3 hours was gone!!! I've got 3 more plants to come down in about 2 or 3 weeks so I'm looking forward to some good smoke for the next while!

Looks yummy. Purple kush would be my guess because of the bud formation and colors. I never weigh wet because they lose SOOOO much while drying its depressing. I did 4 purple kush under a 400 HPS and got 2oz Dry per plant. So I'm sure you did pretty good. :mrgreen:

ya i trimmed wet, and the outside got crispy quick! Next time I'm gonna try either water curing, or drying the whole plant before trimming....gotta start somewhere I suppose

Nice job with the lights. The side lighting with T-5's seems to have paid off. What's your grow area space? Said you had a few more to chop?
 
Dont Water cure..Just get fan leaves off and hang branches in a closet or a dark space,for 48hrs then i trimm my best buds and dry very,very slow.

Very nice! Quite similar to the deal I have going. I'm in a room with similar specs. Running 9 in 5-gl buckets right now. Too many. Won't do that again. Instead of getting 3-4 oz plants I get 1.5-2 oz plants. With alot more work moving buckets. Less is more even with plant amounts I guess.
 
ya I had 4 going, now 3 in 5gal buckets and it got crazy with 4....I can't imagine 9! Maybe tonight I'll post some pics of my other three.
 
nice buds and qaunity from a small plant like that, but yeah all weed is kush if its fresh, dried and cured and stored properly mids is just dumbass's who dont grow it well nor handle it well
