first grow

When I first set up my filter-fan-muffler I installed the fan blowing into tent. You'd think I would have wondered why the tent was ballooning! But no, plants got sick and in trying to figure out the issue I realized it. How is that for a noob stoner err!

Someone else said "first successful harvest", I agree that regardless of how shitty that first one may be, it's a damn proud moment. And as we all know, there's always mistakes to be made and to learn from. That's half the fun (after we calm down and stop screaming and bitching).

My very first grow was bagseed mostly under one 60w "grow" bulb. I got about an eight and a few clones off of her and decided to learn, get a real set up, etc. So the cheap bagseed clones weren't too stinky when the fan was blowing in.

The sad thing was that I got my routine dialed in pretty well once I got problems like the fan fixed :-) I didn't give it a thought when I found one immature seed in the eighth and I should have. The whole harvest was hermie and full of seed. They really didn't much show it. Had pics posted here many times and no one noticed either. But then the system was down and all subsequent grows have gone well (and I now use fem seed!).

Sorry for the thread hijack, but it is fun to laugh at ur own errs and hopefully they make other new growers feel better and confident they can do the same!
 
121024-2114-21.jpgThis was my first hydro grow. There are 6 White Russian crammed into that room! The biggest issue I had was the size lol. I have never duplicated that grow and the PH and nutes were all over the place lol. I spent the first month waiting for them to die lol. The second month was spent moving the light up daily. I got 425 grams dried from that run and like I said I haven't done that since with that strain!
 
Alot bigger than I had in mind too lol. Never thought they would get that big! I have done many soil grows and never experienced that, near the end I actually had to break and bend the stalks to keep it out of the light, even that didnt hurt the girls lol, its an amazing strain! Some of the best smoke I have grown as well but sadly little taste. And always glad to relate what has happened to me even if it is wrong. I try to never advise just relay what has been my experience.
 
very thankfull for all the input my friend im still not done ive got like eight more in veg and two in flower all of them came form the first plants i started with i took a whole bunch of clones and a few lived and i put a whole bunch of seds in cubes and only like four of them came up and god only knows if those are male or female so the fun goes on
