First Grow

Just got some 6 week old clones. I planted the whole rock wool cube in my own grow medium which is sunshine mix#4 gave it a good watering with phd water no nutes and got good runoff. I also have a 400 watt mh light about a foot and a half abve it, dosent feel to hot when i put my hands right about the girls. What is the desired distance for the light at this age? My temps are at about 71-75F 30rh. When can i hit these girls with nutes? Again this is my first grow. ANY help is much appreciated.

congrats on getting some clones. i remember you posting a while back that you were looking for some. Looks like at least one s.a.ge.
thats a good strain. I have some growing myself. You can hit them with a light dose of nutes now. I believe that sunshine mix has no nutrients in it.
what are you using for nutes?

You might want to re-post your thread in another section of this site. There aren't alot of people who visit this nevada medical section. I do because I live in nevada, but there are people from all over the world on here

good luck on your first grow. It's a lot of fun and awesome to be self sufficient.

Thanks bro. Sage and sage kush. The breeder said they were 6 weeks old. Do theylook younger or older? I'm using technaflora bc bloom boost and grow. So I can hit them with half strength?

I have both of those strains growing right now, I'm pretty happy with both of them. Those are both THSeeds strains. you can check out www.thseeds.com for some more info about them, like flower times.
Those clones do not look 6 weeks old to me, they look younger. A 6 week old clone would be a much bigger plant. Those look like they just rooted, so maybe 2 weeks old. Maybe the guy you got them from meant the plant he took them from was 6 weeks old. It doesn't really matter, those clones look healthy.
I think your good to hit them with some half strength nutes. After that just follow what technaflora recommends on the bottle.

distilled is fine, you could probably get a big enough cutting in two weeks or so to clone them.

ok, i just looked at technafloura's website. Don't worry about that ppm #, it doesn't matter. If you have a ph meter it would be a good idea to adjust your ph to what they recomend. If you use distilled water, you probably won't need to adjust it much, distilled water is ph balanced at perfectly neutral (7ph) If you use tap water like I do, you will definitely need to adjust your ph. The water at my house in vegas is too base and it caused some problems in some of my early grows. I adjust my water with 1/2 tsp of white vinegar per gallon. Ph down from the hydro store works too. Follow technafora's recommendations and you should be good to go.

I just grow in souped up potting soil and just give my plants plain water unless I can see that they need something, so I'm not an expert on soilless mixes, hydro etc, but a lot of people on here are.
