First grow

It’s hard to tell what is going on with these, I’ve read that they will start turning brown like this as they go, but also that this is from them being pollinated. Started looking closer this morning, and found this on another one of the plants looking through a jewelers loupe. Should I be freaking out right now?

Just finishing the sixth week of flower. The Too Buku #22 strain said it needs 8 weeks, and the Vintage Pakistani, and Kings Banner say 9-10. So I’ll start checking trichomes before long. I’m excited that I’ve gotten this far.

As I’m waiting for these girls to finish out, I’m getting ready for my next grow. I wanted to find a better way of filling out my tent without having to army crawl around under the net to water and clear out leaves. Hoping these work out. This way I can rotate wash plant and even take them out of the tent easily if I need to. After this first round I’ve learned what I can do better next time with defoliation and the like. This has definitely turned out to be a fun hobby. I’m really impatient so it’s driving me crazy waiting for these to be done so I can start the next round. I’m hoping I can end up with around the same quantity of bud with only two plants, or at least close.

So here is a little twist to the grow. We are in the middle of an ice storm, and our power has been out for around 30 hours. I have been able to use some generator power to run the fans, but I don’t have the juice to run the lights. The temp has been around 55 or so with 60-65% humidity. I’m thinking that I’ll probably need to chop them as soon as I get power back, and try to get them drying. I’m freaking devastated, but don’t want to lose them all. Do you all think that the high humidity will hose me too bad? Some of my indicas showed a random amber trichomes, so they were probably going to be done this week. But the other one, and my sativa were supposed to be 9-10 week flower, and I just ended the 8th week. Am I going to ruin my potency harvesting them that early?

Don't worry, if you're in flower there's no reason to freak out. You're already almost done. When the power comes back on just fix your timers back to normal. The extra dark won't hurt them at all.

No kidding, that’s awesome! They aren’t giving any updates on when it will come back on, so they may be in the dark for a few days. The humidity is what I was most concerned with, but it is gonna be what it is at this point. Can’t control the dang weather. Man 2020 sucks!

That’s funny. I’ve been reading as much as I can, and the local grow shop guy has helped me a ton. I still don’t have power, so I’m hoping they can hang on. Yesterday would have been my normal watering day, but they didn’t need it since they haven’t had any light all week. They are saying now that we might not get power back for another few days to a week. Yikes!

Wow, these look great! Im in the middle of week 3 flower on my own first grow so if mine are HALF as good as yours ill be happy.

Cheers!
Thanks, it’s been fun learning. I think it’s really cool how you can see the difference in the three different stains. It’s not perfectly separate but you can see the outlines of color differences weaving through.
