First Grow Using Super Soil...

I have a mature batch of Super Soil, made by following Subcool's recipe to the letter. All I can say is this is good stuff. Growth rates are amazing compared to FFOF.

Next grow, I plan to use a recipe developed by a guy named nouvellchef (sp?) over on MarijuanaPassion.com. According to lots of people over there, it's even better than Super Soil. I'm gonna try it and find out for myself.

But for now, Super Soil is it.
 
Yeh i've been thinking about goin from synthetics to organics using subcools recipe. but i was also wondering about benie brews and ripening additives, sugars etc. in conjuction with the "super soil", to my knowledge he doesnt use any nutes. Any advice for a soil newb.
 
Right on I'll probably head out and go get the stuff for the reciipe, i'll cut it in half. I have around 6+ wks left so it should be enough time to let it inoculate. Distilled water and hygrozyme once a wk. til the plant tells me otherwise, maybe some Sweet Raw for sugars?

This is my first grow using Subcool's Super Soil. So far, indoor results have been off the charts compared to FFOF...and outdoor results have been just as amazing...maybe I'll have to supplement with ammendments or teas later...but even if so, I am so relieved from having to worry daily about PH and PPM...I'll never go back to hydro...too much work and too little taste...IMHO...YMMV...

I suggest you add 1 tbs per gallon of unsulphered mollasses per gallon of water (every other watering)...it will neutralize any chlorine, and will add a sweetness to the taste of your buds...
 
imho, i think organic sucanat (raw sugar) is even better than molasses....if you have a health food store nearby.....it disolves instantly, plus it is much, much less messy!....plus molasses is not organic....it is quite the opposite, and from what i understand, sugar cane is treated quite heavily with chem ferts, and pesticides, and molasses is a concentrated form, or everything that is stripped out leaving table sugar behind....just a thought ......

Well, I have an excellent organic store nearby from which I buy many products...I'll check and see if they carry an organic sucanat...thanks for the recommendation...
 
Swwet! i'll check it out im sure I can find it too, living in a hippie coastal should be easylol thanx you guys. doin a blueberryXcheese and OG kush grow right now. will be updating with some pics tonight check it out. Right now im using FFOF mixed with coco. just doin maxibloom koolbloom and superlicouse. been thinking about adding sugars thats all im using for for nutes right now pretty basic but im a poor white boy lol.
 
sucanat is the best ive tried em all. use it up until harvest, it intensifies natural flavors, and bud is sweet and smooth right after chop.. only getting sweeter, stinkier and smoother as the cure goes on.

i personally like hygrozyme and liquid karma all through flower.. no flushing required use it all til the end once a week
 
Nice I couldn't remember the sucanat when i went to the store and seen that lol but yeh im tired of using nutes just want the super soil a benie tea and a sweetner, hygrozyme is a must have I love it. Here's to the last harvest with synthetics and on to pure organic. I went to get the ingredients and seen that my store had roots organics bat guano 0-7-0 and has cal/mag in it. i was thinking about using this instead of the foxfarms 0-5-0n, but they didn't have roots organics soil. They had FF brands and black gold. sunshine mix with myco in it, its like a 3 lb bale.
