First Grow Using CFL and 1 gro light

Im doing my first indoor closet grow, and i was wondering if 2 CFL 100w lights (they say they only use 26w power) and 1 60 watt gro light would work to grow 2 plants in a 2' by 4' aluminum covered space? Also any tips or anything would be nice

That setup would be good for about 2 weeks of veg but after that the plants are gona need more light. You should defnatly buy some 40watt cfls to add on.

50 watt cfl w/ reflector. equiv to a 150w mh

Aluminum foil = big no no

Don't worry about the equivelent, the real watt is what you want to look for.

check that reflector out, may be good for what your doing.

I agree with that too.

instead of attaching mylar to the posterboard... can you use foil?

Foil is the last thing you want to do. You have alot of reading to do. Everything you need to know is in these forums

Again agree with that.

You may have to look a little harder but def a better idea. I just got back from the party store (balloons, wrapping paper, party favors and what nots) Obviously they have a good selection of wrapping paper right now. Took me a minute but found some "foil wrapping paper", tore away a bit of the plastic and looked behind it to find it was reflective! Took it to the register and it rang up as "Mylar assorted" DING DING DING!!!! Was like 3 bucks for a 6 foot by 24 or 30 inch roll.

It may be a bit of a pain but I'm sure your going to want to go with it.

If you HAVE, HAVE, HHHHAAAAVE TO use the non shiny side of the foil with those instructions.
