Is LST on the Berry Bomb a good idea?

This is my first grow and im doing DWC had a few hiccups but its coming along the top one is a feminized Beery Bomb had some vinegar spray out trying to make C02 (BAD IDEA)caucusing the burns on the leaves, which I believe is whats causing the little brown spots to pop up on the leaves. I just topped it today on is 7th node. Also, I am trying to do LST on this one any advice on what might be better would be great. The bottom one is a Feminized Northern Lights Blue Automatic not topping it or doing anything to it, I have read to just let it grow. Although I am tying branches back to let more light to the lower branches. They are both 25 days old today in their first week of VEG.IMG_8204.JPG IMG_8209.JPG

I can see a tiny bita nut burn man
My advise is to let pots dry out every few watering
Less nuts is best till flower u will notice if ur plants r hungry
Ur plants r pumping the autos tie the fck out of it man get as many buds sites as possible don't cut the top just tie the top right over unless it's all rdy going woody

Awesome I was wondering how much good it would do to tie the auto down. Seeing 9 bud sites on the auto so far. 6 on the berry.

Congrats on your first off run and welcome to the community! As having years of trial and error myself, I've practically done everything wrong until I learned from experience. Your girl looks pretty strong. I might suggest backing off the nutes a bit and try to stay around 800 ppm during veg unless you are adding CO2 supplementation. You can stress her a bit in between feedings by allowing her to dry out a bit and save yourself some money on nutes. I might also recommend wearing a pair of cleaner footwear as you don't want to introduce anything new to your gem! Keep at it and keep us posted please.

Cheers

Thanks, right now my PPM's aren't above 560. I had vinegar spray out on to the plant trying to make Co2. thats what the burns are from. there are little brown spots all over it some on new growth not sure if it is caused from the spraying.

Are we talking mites? Maybe you could snap a picture of the damage or the critter themselves? For a small space like that, introducing some lady bugs can control a small space within a few days.

Here is some pics of the roots. the top is northern lights and the bottom is berry bomb. The berry bomb seems to be growing its root system a lot slower then the NL. Not sure if its because the NL is auto flower and the Berry Bomb is not.IMG_8218.JPG IMG_8213.JPG

Don't have much to worry about freedom. Looks like typical thrip or caterpillar damage. Try one application of Neem oil and check for further damage. Your roots look like white angel hair from the heavens and have great color. Hygrozyme can help in in your reservoir with minor applications. Keep at it and watch that water temp!

Thanks I will definitely pick some neem oil up tomorrow. and I try to keep my water temps between 68 & 75 degrees. I never heard of hygrozyme I will do a little research on it.
