I decided to end A's life this morning. Kind of sucks after all the work.:-|:-|:-|

The balls were bunching together like grapes, there was no way it was female. Anyone care to comment of the earlier pic?

I was surprised at how well the root system developed since transplant. It filled the whole container.

C is looking awesome:-o:-o, maybe I've overwatered D, it just seems droopy:?

Things have been going slowly. I had issues with low temps but I have it fixed now and the plants are speeding up again.

I'll try to gets some pics in the next few days. Plant D turned out to be female so I have one normal sized plant and one small one.

Decided to upload a few pics, been awhile. I think my flowering was really slowed down by low temps when the lights were off (8 degrees C). Since I corrected the problem like a week ago I've a lot of hairs to start developing on both C and D.

Can anyone comment on how far along in flowering I am and the plants.

(Yeah D seems to have perked up in its new newest sections after adjusted temps. It is a wierd little plant, treated the same as the others.....maybe rootbound because I didn't repot?)

So DAY 24 of flowering (I think.)

C

D

And finally C: This one here shows the pot sitting on the floor of the rubbermaid. It got too tall so I had to cut out a hole in the shape of the pot in the bottom of the rubbermaid. This has given me like another six inches of room. Should be enough.

Here is a comparison shot of C and D at 8 vs 24 days flower.

Last night I noticed that even after cutting out the bottom section to allow the pot to stick out the bottom of the rubbermaid Plant C is still going to out grow the container. I had about 4 more inches I could raise the lights before C would touch.

I figured it was my first grow and I hadn't tried LST which could give me some extra room. I tied the top down towards one the pot sides giving about 3 more inchs of grow room. I should be fine now. I also tried to tie it down so I'd have the most bud sites exposed to direct light. I hope this doesn't mess up the main cola.

Anyone know if this will affect the top of the plant?

Pics when the lights come on.

It won't mess up the main cola. Just gives more light to the lower buds. Have you switched the lights to 12/12 yet? The big one will double if not triple during flower. You should go ahead and switch.

I am at day 27 of flowering. I had low temps (8 C) which I think has slowed the plants to what they would normally have been at like day 17. Its already at least doubled in size, so I am hoping it won't grow more then 7", especially if the main cola has to take time to adjust to the LST.

I spent a lot of time looking for a good silent fan with high cfms. I assume since you have a rubbermaid you want stealth, so a silent fan is a good idea. The 120 mm fans can push more air at lower rpms then say an 80 mm fan, so lower sound levels (dbs). The price was right and I only read good reviews of the fan so I went for it. On my first page there are some pics of my first 80 mm fan. It sounded like a turbine so thats why I upgraded. I just cut out a 120mm x 120mm square and just attached the fan.

High temps aren't a problem for me because the rubbermaid is in an unheated section of the basement. I actually had to open some doors during lights off to get some heat into the room to keep temps from getting too low.

Here is a pic showing the plants just after the lights came on.

This on here is right after I've gently adjusted some of the leaves to expose the bud sites.

The here has the lights on. I've got the height down to just at the top on one rubbermaid container.

And finally Plant D......It has really come around from being completely pathetic looking to not too bad.

are you at day 27 from turning the lights back or day 27 from preflowers. You gotta count from the time you see the first hair. They will get pretty big just use the lst to tie them down; although when you do tie down don't tie a knot around the stem just horseshoe it around and tie the knots to whatever you are using. Tieing the knots around the stem will cause the plant to grow over the string. I found this out the hardway. The stem gets thicker and the string doesn't losen up so it rips into the plant and then the plant grows around it lol.

So I was away for the weekend and just got home to check on the girls.

Faaaaaaaack, Plant C's top adjusted to the LST and reached to within millimeters of the lights. :?

Right before I left I pulled the lights up to a point where I thought there was no way in hell they could get too close to it. A bit of a miscalculation......

So the top 1 inch of the cola is burnt :fire:. faaaaack. I cut it off and may try smoking it just for the hell of it.

So it goes.

Plant D is doing wicked though so it wasn't a total loss. :-P I am really happy with it, frig it was such a slow growing handicapped looking plant until like a week ago.

I did a bit more LSTing to C . I now have all of the bud sites on a pretty much equal height and fully exposed to light. I think it will turn out pretty good, but having the top burned will most likely slow things down.

I was measuring from when I first switched the lights to 12/12. It was probably around a week before I saw hairs on C and a few more days before I saw anything on D.

Thanks for letting me know about the plant growing around the string....I've adjusted the old one and did the two new ones that way.

Just tried smoking the burnt dried out top. Nothing great but it did the trick. So i guess it wasn't a complete waste.

DAY 31 FROM 12/12:

From top of rubbermaid looking at C on the left and D on the right.

These next ones are all showing plant D, with a comparison shot from Day 24 at the end.

Next ones show the tops of Plant C. The main top is tucked into the top left corner area, It should twist back to the light.

DAY 37 FROM 12/12

Everything seems to be going well, using full nutes now, haven't noticed any burn to speak off, Plant D seems to be a lighter green color than C. Quite happy the way D is coming along, didn't expect anything to come from its sad little past.

Bunch of pics:

31 vs 37 of both plants:

Plant C's tops:

Plant D's top:

This one of D kinda looks looks like sugar was spilled of the leaves, hence the name I guess:

What do you guys think?
