First Grow. Stealth Computer Cabinet. Popcorn bagseed.

I'm going to start growing here shortly. I've already set up a Stealth Cabinet and will post pics of it soon for more advice. It's mostly a DIY setup so it looks kinda shitty but is effective.

i have a question though. i have to play music to cover up the sound of a fan that just creates win currents in the box. and want to know if the music would be stressful to my plants?

Also I've found the perfect solution to PC fan noise in which ill go into detail later. i shoulda post this under ghettoponics cuz it cost me 10$ to make this whole cabinet :] and it looks ghetto as fuck but its not completely finished.

This is my setup. Pic1 is of my intake PC Fan with a glow in the dark weed leaf on it :]. This fan has a eggcrate{like for your bed} material around it. it eliminates all sound from the fan. the fan is also running on a 9v plug instead of a 12v. was to reduce sound but got the eggcrate idea and didnt feel like rewiring.

Pic2 is of a Socket turned into a double socket CFL. one of the CFLs is 26w and the other is 20w(not in socket atm)

Pic3 is of my grow/sunshine lite. just a workbench light with diffrent bulbs in.
dont remember the wattage on the lights :/ but they produce 750 lumens each. the Light cost 8.88 and the bulbs are like 6$ each, for anyone who needs a cheap light source.)

Pic4 is my Temp/Humidity detector. like 97cents at walmart

Pic5 is Homemade wind simulator. you can make them outta like VCR motors and a piece of anything that will make wind. i got lucky and found a double sided one. with a little electrical knowledge you can wire this just like a pc fan again only used a 9v plug cuz these buggers can be kinda loud.

Pic6 is two crude reflectors, a piece of cloth(in the back) and homemade seals(bottom righthand corner also one at top) to stop all the light from being obvious outside of the box.

gonna add a outake van with a air-cleaner full of dryer sheets for smell soon (as soon as i get another pc van)

thats ghetto alright. Is there a reason why the Y-socket for the lights only has one light on it and not two?

yea cuz two lights go into it and the second on just wasnt in yet cuz im a lazy bastard :] but hey i made this shit cheap as hell :] i hook'd up another one of those shop lights with the grow and sunshine bulbs in it. and im geting an HPS for flowering soon.

seeds are a few day into germination and havent quite came out of the seeds shell but i give it about 2 or 3 more days and it should be done. ill post pictures of everything after i make everything refective and plant my seedlings.

apparently, one of the seeds is a feminized seed of either sugarbabe or lemon kush. so im very happy. stay tuned

thanks. my fans make only a small hum thats so silent that when you close the grow box you cant hear it :] and the wind current simulator took me all of 5 minutes to make . im pretty handy with electronics tho cuz when i was young i just loved taking shit apart so i knew exactly what i was looking for.
