have no idea what i am looking for in terms of nutes. We currently ahve 1 plant in a larger container that is looking great other than nute burn due to MG (gone today) but I was wondering what sort of nutes i should have... I know there is fox farm, advanced nutes, etc but i have no idea which nutes i MUST have and which are just if i want to go BIG... I have good seeds, but we are waiting for the bag seed to go through to see what we learn. Anyone have any suggestions? are there 3, 4, 5, 1, 2, specific ones we must have? we have a plant about 6" high max, has leafs, etc, about 2 wks into veg.

Looking to spend not to much, just wondering what i should expect for necessary nutes. There are some Hydro stores around here so yea it will be bought locally...

Thanks

there are a lot of biases on this site re nutes, but you won;t go wrong with any nute you get from a hydro store. just make sure to get separate veg and flower nutes with clear recommendations on doses. nute problems come from over-dosing more than the choice of nute.

Well i went cheapish to start... got FF Grow Big and FF Big Bloom (for later) and then also got FF Ocean Forest soil.

Lets hope for some good results. We also finally got some proper lighting. Not sure if we will put up the HPS i have until flowering, but we will see.

Those are good nutes. and soil. I use the GrowBig for veg and I add Technaflora Magical, B-1 red and Sugar Daddy to help prevent deficencys. I use FoxFarms three part nutes OpenSesame, ChaChing and Beastie Bud for flower with the Magical, B-1 and Sugar Daddy. I use the three part because they are PH buffered so I dont have PH issues during flower. I also use Technaflora AwesomeBlossoms and Route 66.

yea, but for bag seed right now I want to stay cheap and see if i can get it right. Start small and get big, it works best from what i know.

Sounds like a good choice as far as nutes & soil. Never underestimate bagseed though, theres a very good chance it is in fact a great strain.

never know what you're gonna get.
Anyhow good luck and happy growing.

This is my theory:)

What if that mid grade swigaty shwag bud you buy on the street is just some good dank, but since it you bought it with seeds in it, the plant stopped producing THC the minute it was pollinated. There for bringing that dank bud to a mid grade just bc it has seeds in it:) So then if you feed them and grow right, you can have some dank from your mids that you once had, and of course good genetics help!:blsmoke:
