First grow since i got old!! Who wants to help?

Not except my ineptitude. lol. Yesterday morning I woke them with the sound of birds in the morning a foliar feed and about an hour in meditation (co2 saturated) I then spend the day working on actual garden stuff (65 deg sunny) after dinner when I went to check two had gotten too excited and started getting friendly with the light bulb. I will get a picture. They don't wake for another 30 min. But man I got a million questions

oooo... leaf burn?

mine do that to me, they soon replace that leaf with many others though so it never fuss's me unless the whole top head gets fried. My grandfather used to burn the top of the main cola on the last week of flowering with a blowtorch to increase thc output, I gotta say he did produce some of the stickiest smoke ive ever had, even when the stuff was bone dry the dust stuck to your fingers like a green resin.

I gathered most of the pieces for a small bubble cloner. Im not sure why im balking about flipping the light and then flipping back. Im thinking of toping them all and trying to sex the cuttings. any thoughts. and then I have a lighting question for the Veg table.

Im running them under 3 two bulb 4 ft. T8 2900 lumen 6500k (six bulbs so 1 row of plants under each.)
I also have from back in the day... a home made hood running HID. twin bulb system over glass. I will have to pull the bulbs and check but I know I could get to 170 watt and maybe 220 or 250) if I mix MH and HPS. my thought would be then the light can be farther away and I will get better air circulation.

Then why not, you would also have yourself a next supply of plants if they appear female too

ideally the more light the merrier from experience. just try and get an equal coverage of kelvin to the plants. IMHO - i would keep using the tubes for seedlings clones and use the lamp setup for vegging

Unfortunately one of the others was our little pineapple. Looks like m4 plants total....all down the center row so we shuffled the placements. we have been keeping then semi rotated by height.

Hey Pops! Nice looking set-up.
I notice your pots are translucent, this will slow root growth once they reach the side of the pot.
If you can keep the roots in the dark it will help.

Have you ever placed lights under a canopy. If I plant in 5 gallon buckets fir the cab I will have some room and extra lights .
Waiting on a 465 cfm to get the heat under control and have warned the little lady about possible need of actual mini-split........Im bucking for the whole room still .

Thanks. I had the plants in peat pots and hate them. At day eight there were tap roots curling in the bottom whole of several and I panicked. did I mention I hate peat pots. so as the space was limited and I had 110% germination rate (one twin) I got what I could work with to save all in space available but color wasn't an option. I wasn't really thinking of the light transfer. I may have to wrap them with foil tape. its too late to paint. 1.5 gallon though.

You have it so nice and tight in there, maybe just place poster board around the outside edge resting on top of the pots.

That might work..... Easier than pulling the tape back off to plasti-dip. once the males are culled and the cabinet filled there will be some room. But I could make like slip covers for the pots themselves too. Thanks

Well that was interesting. I was glad the topping part was willingly found in the dusty recesses of the crypt I call a brain. But the bubbler was a different twist. Im not overly excited about the outcome but I'm excited just the same. It looks cool. My copilot through this amusment park was not with me tonight, She will look in the morning and think I knew what I was doing.

20 days -- I don't have the heart to kill it.
Topped everything last night. decided if the plant is female I will take the twin as a cutting. Maybe work our way into Siamese.

I didn't want to either but for the sake of speed I got rid of it, if I wasn't word bout count number I'd let er go

Ok . I took a four hour road trip today to purchase a new 434cfm exhaust fan. Tired of getting the runaround form the local shops and for some reason the interweb here doesn't like my cash. lol. Had to go out of state about 70 miles. Met a nice shop owner with some knowledge and willingness to share it freely though. Played around a little and got the 300w setting to drop the temp pretty quick and stabilized about 1.5 deg warmer than ambient room. Cabinet has passive intake but needs more and then I believe with creative positioning of the duct work and circulation fans I will be able to get the full 600w cranked up. Should have first trial run tomorrow.
