First Grow: Rubbermaid CFL Auto Blue Mystic

It's growing faster as each day passes, I think it also likes the new 20/4 cycle.


Just curious, what exactly are those small marks on the leaves? almost looks like it was scratched

Nope, and honestly the only thing I could think of it being was it touched something pretty hot & semi-sharp.. I don't think anything bad will happen to yo' babies, lookin great for age btw

Yes sir. Auto = Auto Flowering. Basically, you do not need to switch to 12/12 in order for it to start flowering. It goes through the stages by itself. It is my first time growing, so I thought this would be a perfect strain to learn from.

Hey Bro - Lovevibez from Reddit. When I first started my journal I did it on Grasscity / 420magazine / and here at Rollitup. No feedback made me stop, maybe I have a reason to be active over here now. Subbed Bro. Looking great - SpedRead through, everything looks great! I facking love the stacking of the tubs. Didn't think of that. Do you know how much growth room you have from bottom to light surface. My Flower Tub #2 has 19 inches and Flower Tub #1 has 17 inches. So roughly 12 inches max growth vertically. Easy to work with, now that I have a very good grip on how to LST in many ways, as well as defoliate/trim/bonsai.

You were worried about growth being slow - You seem to be going just fine with your conditions. Remember you have CFLS and your in soil. Things can be slow. First 4 weeks are a drag in CFL/Soil/Seed. You can begin to LST anytime the earlier the better as the stem grows stronger and thicker as time progresses. So if you begin to bend it early, you can bend it to do cool things. I plan on doing some very creative things in the future. Glad you are using the same techniques/pipe cleaners. Great job so far! I'm curious to see how well your autoflower does on 20/4. I currently have 3 +SPEED from sweetseeds that market from seed to finish in 7 weeks. I have my Veg Cab on 20/4 as well Anyways happy growing!

Is it possible to LST in hydroponics? My space is very limited - 28" vertical - 11" x 9.5" I would love to get every bud flat level in the box - would scrog be best suited for this? I would also say Jason's growth is going fantastic, his plants are growing 3 times as fast as mine ever did in soil w/ CFL's

You can LST anytime under any conditions. Just be careful and take it slow at first, If you allowed the stem to get to thick - you have to slowly bend it for days at small increments. If you start early you can mold the plant ANY way you want throughout it's growth. I will be trying many ways. Spiral has worked the best so far. Here's a couple pictures of my last plant

The LST spiral method looks sick! I would love to start LST right now, but considering how short it is...not sure if I can. Its not even 10cm tall yet.

I hope all goes well for you too man, hope your auto goes great, I read somewhere that auto blue mystic has been one of the top selling strains of autoflowering marijuana, for a couple years now. I recently read some good reviews on it too. Good luck bro

Yah, I started the Autoflowering Blue mystic because of "idontlikesociety" 's PC Grow.

I still haven't started LST. The nodes are way too tight. Any suggestions?

Maybe make it stretch some?
