UPDATE*** .. will my buds get bigger? is in fatter? at the moment the plant dusnt look like it will yeild much unless the buds bulk up.
Your plants are practically half way through their bloom cycle. I must admit my buds are usually slightly larger than this at the stage.

CFLs will tend to yield a smaller crop than with HPS/HID lighting as a rule of thumb. But as new technologies take their pride and place we're finding HID lighting being moderately challenged.

Around this time in the bloom phase I'd be thinking about using a bud accelerator additive. As soon as the first sign of pistil growth is apparent I'd have been using Advanced Nutrient's Big Bud. This is usually from around [ending] week 1 or 2 up to week 4 or 5ish, or until I see some nice strong calyx development. After which I'd switch to using Advanced Nutrient's Overdrive until all of the plant's in bloom have developed substantial bud formation. This would be from [ending] week 4 up to week 7, or at least until 30-40% of my pistils have started to turn amber/brown/pink/red or whatever colour the strain's pistils turn to after being white.

So around the end of week 7 up to week 9 I'd begin flushing for as long as I can. (Until 70-80% of the pistils have changed colour or if you have a microscope you can check the condition of your trichome heads and then harvest accordingly)

If I got 7-28g from the plant(s) in the photo(s) I wouldn't complain. It's all a learning curve and you will surely do better on your 2nd, 3rd, nth crop as your knowledge develops.

Keep at it. You're doing great!

EDITED: I forgot to add that towards the end of bloom your plants will tend to give one final push to attract pollen. She will show signs of rapid maturing around week 7 to 9 depending on your strain. A healthy plant will tend to explode and put on much weight at this point in just 2 to 4 days. Once this occurs you can pretty much see your harvest crop before you. :)

It's not of major importance that you switch your nutrients at this stage .. Your plants are healthy, but just a little behind their potential ..

Bloom additives are just that .. You add them on top of, or into, your current nutrient solution, but ensuring the overall PPM/EC doesn't exceed the recommended amount .. I think all major brands of nutrient provide bud boosting additives .. I used the Advanced Nutrient brand for personal reasons. I've also used Vita Link, Canna and House & Garden products .. An associate used House & Garden's Shooting Powder and got amazing results, but we must bare in mind that all other aspects of their indoor gardening were totally on-form .. Getting the balance right is of more importance than the overall brand .. I suppose I used A.N. because of their advertising methods.

I'll stay tuned! Next time try and start a journal/grow-diary so we can follow you progress right from the beginning to the end [from seed to smoke]. Sometimes people don't follow, but it's a good frame of reference for yourself when you come to start another crop.

Keep it growing :)
