first grow please help

hello guys here it is my first grow.
This morning I wake up and some of the top leaves had become a bit yellow on the side.Did I leave the light to close or what?
another thing my soil is always wet it does not dry how can I solve that?

do you have big enough holesin your pot.. sound like over watering to me.. pics will help alot though....

sounds like over watering, how high do you have your light from top of plant? thats how i lost my first lot!! how old are they and how many sets of leaves do they have????

I had the ligths 3 cfl 30 watt daylight at 3 inches distance,it is 2 months probably.

here it is some pictures you can see some yellow on the top leave and and a black spot on the other.The soil looks constantly wet and full of tiny insects ,that could be the problem,probably.
I leave it to you guys I hope we can resurvive this plant.

I don't think the CFL's are too close.. I keep mine about an inch away and don't get burn unless they touch the bulb. As for the soil being damp all the time... STOP WATERING. That size of a plant needs water maybe once a week. Stick your finger in the soil up to your second knuckle, if you can't feel moisture then it is time to water, if you do feel moisture check again tomorrow. I used to over water due to just wanting to care TOO MUCH, when I stopped things starting going much better.

the cfl's I already adjusted them that is why,anyway I wait for more suggestions,thank you.

whats your soil mix? looks like some slow draining soil youve got there.

Hey i have a quick question sorry to bring away from the original post but.. i have 2 experiences growing marijuana.. well it was mostley spectating but im struggling on finding a spot. i have one spot its hecka long and about a foot and a half tall (its a tall dresser on its side ..) will a foot and a half be enough space to compleatly finish a plant under a t-5 im currently saving up for. Any information or website will help amazingly.

are you using nutes?
if not start cuz look at the 2nd pic the round leaves are dead

I used it once I used a product called MIRACLE GROW:
nitrogen 24%
potassio 13.3 %
Today I put more lamps 2x 6400 I put reflective material, a fan and a computer fan and I did some reflectors made of tin foil,added some perlite .
No water yet soil looks still very moist Let's see how it goes.

I hope this yellow leaves is not a big problem..

uhhh, stop giving advise now. you obviously dont know a thing about growing. these leaves always die.

it is 6.9 if the tester is accurable.
This plant come for a joke and now I am very passionate about it even if will not grow or it will be a male I had learn a lot.Plus the soil I don't know where it comes from as I got this pot from a friend,that is the joke..
