First grow , Plants looking sad :-( any help would be great 600watt hps and a $10ligh

I had these clones for about 3 days. The light was up very high for the first two days. the temp in the room was 85 degrees 35% Hum. not good lol. some leafs are turning yellow. one is very sad, droopy. all the clones had great white roots when I transplanted. I now place the lamp about 3 feet from plants. When I did the fan was moving air through the light. temp drooped to 80-81 degrees weee. my home ac is set at 75 degrees. im watering every day 200 ml of water ph 6.3-6.5 with 1/4 of foxfarm big grow. I also use foxfarm ocean forest. currenty have a 600watt hps ballast with a 400 hps bulb, not good but i bought the whole ballast and light for $150. my 600watt hps bulb is coming. I have a $10 grow light from walmart . im ordering t5 pretty soon to help with veg. also check my profile for my other threads i have videos of the bathroom/ grow room.

do not water every day for starters,water when they need it im guessin but plants that young maybe once a wk at best.i water mine in veg and flower when soil drys. once a day with all those nutes will kill em for sure if u keep it up

thanks bro! , but to me the outer rim of the plant has always been dry giving it 200ml from the start. they are 3 gallon pots so in three days i have giving each plant 600ml 200mlx3days= 600ml per pot lol prolly to much. should I just wait for the whole top of the soil gets dry then water about 400mls? then let it the top get dry again and repeat the process? how to +rep someone? cuz u need one lol

For the next 1-2 weeks: Get the humidity up (a wet dish rag, a pan of water or something), stop with the nutes (ocean forest already has more than enough nutes), and forget the HID for now just use your $10 grow light and keep it a few inches away.

I cant really hang it right now, no tools and its 3am lol but this is what did? u really think its enough light? the middle pot is far away from the light it was planted with half of the pot full of soil, ran out lol.

i saturate mine when i water especially in flower. dont just water around the stem go around the whole pot get it pretty wet then leave it alone after awhile you will b able to tell when they need water.the light depends on what ur doing. if you r veggin, the hps is over kill. i have 12 $10 shop lights i veg with. then i use the hps"s to flower, gonna switch to t5 s for veg eventually but shop lights r fine

oh yea i have 6 plants under each shop light then when i transplant 5 under each, plenty of light

I see in your pics your grow light situation -- Yeah it's probably not enough but the HID is too much this early on. I'm with dry wall on the shop lights. I chose 48" long t8s for my clones/early veg state cos they were long enough to illuminate quite a few 3-5 gallon buckets. (2 bulbs + 1 dual fixture ran about $26 -- but I spent about $50 and had four 48" long t8s in two fixtures) The t5s will be even better than T8s.

Also the fact you're in a bathroom makes the humidity problem easy to solve. Run a hot shower in there for 'em (not on them but just to steam the room), they'll like the steam/humidity! Clones like it hot n steamy!

its a true 17w puts out 75w grow light from walmart. this is how i have to have it for now is this cool? the middle pot has half the soil. so its at a nice distance. from the light. if ur saying these lights would make them veg nice and big? ill go buy 5 of them tomorrow lol instead of waiting two weeks to buy a $150+ t5 set up? lol dude ill put one on each side of the walls and one of top thats 5, u think that would wor

so will 5 of those true 17watt that puts out 75 wannabe watts lol grow light from walmart grow me some huge plants when I veg? I want them to get big and fat before I flower because I have a whole master bedroom and a 600 hps and I might add a second one for flowerings I just want the veg grow to be nice and big!! so I can LST plus top etc. oh and if u can answer if my lighting would be cool for two days where it is now? BTW the $10 light puts out a nice blue spec. so i know for sures its for vegging

.... I also have the bathroom light on so the vent can be on, I hope that light doesnt hurt my babies, im doing 24/7 on lighting. I wish i could turn on a shower but theres only a sink, so im going to run the sink over and over again tomorrow to get it nice and humid

if u want humidity walmart has a cheap shit humidifier for like 25 bucks i have 1 but rarely use it. after my clones r planted my humidity stays between 35 and 40%. is fine for me i dont alter it, everybody has there own way of doin shit though so find whats best for u.u can also put a few buckets of water in there that will raise it to

this is an old pic right when i changed my room t this design since then i havechaged the wall of the first pic 4 shelves to accomodate 20 3 ft plants if neccesary ,only let em grow bout 1.5 ft though now that both sides r organized all plants stay roughly the same size

I see you use duct tape to mark ur strains heheehhe me too, Well the babies!!!! look nice!!!!! last night I turned off the hps like u said. and now the yellow is fading, plants getting a little happier. the hps made to hotttt in there I guess 85+degrees with the humi. at 30% now its a cool 75 degrees 38% humi. yay!

if u guys can answer my lighting question. I might buy 5 today if you guys think its a good idea. the cost would be $40 bucks for 4 of those lights.

that will b plenty keep em as close to the plants as u can get em,i dont use plant bulbs , i use reg 40w flouros and they do just fine never tried the others
