First grow outdoors

Just got my first seed order in from Herbie's took less than 3 weeks. I don't have the money for an indoor set up yet so I was thinking about planting a couple seeds outdoors. I got a 3 Northern Lights Autos and 10 Buddha Auto Fem's. If I start planting now will I be able to harvest in about 65 days?? or is that timeline just for indoors. Another website said outdoor harvest for the NL auto would be in Sept.. but that would be more like 140 days from now. I live way down south. Thanks

If they will be left outside at night it just depends on how cold it is getting where you are at. If in pots and you can bring them in on cold nights, go for it.

Sweet! Thanks that's what I'll do. It looks like our cold weather is gone for this year. At what temp would you want to bring them inside. Like below 58 degrees F?? Thanks.

Assuming good weather I guess I should be able to harvest around the same timeline as an indoor grow 65 days or so rather than September right??

I don't have experience with seedlings outdoors, I start mine indoors and low temp never goes below 68F. By end of season I try to keep my greenhouse lows around 60F to keep good growth going but plants will survive fine even into the low 40s, they just won't grow well at those temps.

Stating that an auto flower will finish in Sept. sounds like a mistake in the seed company write up. I would assume it would be closer to the 65 days.

Yes the breeders description has to be wrong. ( Or you read it wrong). Most autos will finish around 60 to 70 days. You do have to watch colder temps however. But they are cold weather plants so they should be ok.
