First Grow: Indoor BlackJack, Indoor Unknown

This will be my first grow, I will be using my closet with mylar walls, x2 400w MH/HPS lights, FoxFarm Ocean Forrest, FoxFarm Tri Nute Pack, 3 gallon grow bags, x2 8" duct fans, 16" oscillating fan, start plugs for seeds, and OverDrive nutes

I just recieved everything in the mail, have to set up everything pics to follow.

I will be growing as close to 18 plants as I can growing from 20 non-feminized seeds, I will buy clones for every seed that fails.

Will be looking for advice as I go along as this is my first grow, I have spent countless hours reading about growing indoors, but have no actual experience so we will see how it goes

Good luck, but I don't think your lights will handle 18 plants. Even when you thin them down to females, you're going to be crowded for space.

Ive built a 5x5x5 grow room with mylar covering the inside, is this still too much space for 2 400w lights?

So far my ladies(hopefully) have gone through a lot of stress! ive had a lot of heat issues with my first set up inside my enclosed closet, they were cooking around 90-100 for the first 3 days while the lights were on 18/6. Ive just built the above room in hopes that i can better control the heat with my fans. There are about 3 that have popped out of the soil and have 2 leaves, i checked right before they went to sleep so more news when the lights go back on

there are now 8 plants that have come through the soil 2 looking very healthy the other 6 not so much hoping they will get healthier now that they have ideal temperatures 75-83*F the humidity is around 50% so im looking for a humidifier

So the gals are doing nice! they are starting to grow and ive got 18 of the original 20 that have popped out of the soil. Here are some pics of my setup, and gals. One of my MH lamps burnt out 120 hours into the grow :O so I have replaced it with my HPS lamp for now. any tips on improving my setup? I plan on putting OSB or Plywood around the outside.

Day 16 from seed, plants are looking good, almost no more problems up to this point.

I think a 5x5 will be okay for two lights.
