First Grow - How is it looking?

The seeds were sprouted on July 25th, standard seeds I had laying around. Started with 4, but 2 ended up being male.
Grew in fox farm ocean forest. Started feeding them around 30 days or so.

I am using mega crop and recharge.
1 tsp recharge weekly per gallon of water and 1 tsp mega crop per gallon of water every 2 to 4 days when it feels light.
1 is in a 3 gallon fabric pot and I usually give it a little less than a gallon of water per feeding. I carry it to the bathtub when I do it.
The other I assume is maybe 1.5 gallon plastic pot. In hindsight I should have transplanted it to a 3 gallon fabric pot but too late now I think.

As you can see I'm in a closet (3x3) with mylar on the walls and the exhaust vent is going into the attic, I just removed the light and it fit perfectly.
The only fan I have is the one you can see. I have been just leaving the door open during the day and closing the door at night to keep it dark.
This seems to help keep the humidity down a little. I probably need a dehumidifier but haven't gotten around to it yet. Any recommendations on one?
I also defoliated maybe 2 weeks ago. Does it need it again?
How are they looking? Anything I can do to make my set up better? Suggestions?

I will certainly be doing some lst on my next grow.

Was expecting some criticism but if I'm doing things perfectly then I will just keep doing what I'm doing.

I'm still concerned about the humidity level as its been around 70% which seems too high.
Not sure if something like this would make any difference or not as I really don't want to spend a ton of money but my research is telling me the only thing that is going to help is by buying a much larger one around 150-200 dollars.

Also it was a pure coincidence but I noticed after the fact the time on the hygrometer

looking good for a first time grow for sure. watch humidity especially as those flowers start stacking. If you do it again, I highly reccomend getting some serious seeds. Number 1 is always genetics.

Does anyone have any recommendations for how I can lower the humidity?

Honestly I think my hygrometer is broken. I just put it in another room and I watched it jump to 88% and down to 73% within minutes. I'm going to buy a new one. Perhaps the humidity is not even a problem...

I feel like genetics matter more than nutrients in a sense. for the simple fact that you can’t take shitty genetics and pump it fill of top of the line nutes and get prime bud. Quality seems to be primarily gene based .

I ordered my seeds from Seedsman took a month and a half and u will end up with more freebies than that they usually send lots of extra seeds

In that case I probably won't have to buy seeds for a long time then. I bought 10, and it says I'm getting 10 free.
Pretty good for 72 bucks I would think.

Oh yea I spent 59 dollars and ended up with 40 seeds they sent a few Cbd ones that are only 11% thc but that’s ok imma use them too

So I ordered a new hygrometer and the first one wasn't lying. It is humid. Not only is it humid in the grow closet, its just straight humid everywhere in my house. Completely opposite part of my house and on another floor it was 70%. Now I do live in the south and its plain humid where I live and people do grow it outdoors so is this okay? Is this a big problem? They seem to be happy and thriving.

Oh and the one on the right appears to be a lighter color than the one on the left. Is that okay or does that look like a problem?

anyone want to comment about the humidity? someone has to have experience with this and have a good solution.

Some strains will handle higher humidity and are more resistant to mould. They can usually handle the humidity outside because it is open and the wind can flow through easily. You have to remember , we still get mould on the outdoor plants too. I don’t think I have gone a year without a little bit here and there outside.

More air would be my first choice, but because of it being humid throughout your whole area, that won’t work. Keeping good airflow on the plants with fans will help though.

a dehumidifier would work, but they produce heat and in a small area it may do harm if you can’t control the heat. They may make one that you can hook a hose up to and vent the heat outside the room?
Sorry I can’t be much more help. Someone else may be able to give a solution.

I found a solution, but it was more than I wanted to spend.
This was nearly 200 dollars but it works very well from what I can tell.
Been running up there for half a day and already lowered it down to 46%
I just put it in the room and left the closet door open.

Update. These are the 2 plants I have.
Any ballpark on how long until they are ready? One of them are clearly ahead of the other one.

I love it. What else was in your closet? Veggie plant?

There is a sunflower in there too.
Just threw it in there to see what would happen.
It's been happy off to the side and should bloom soon.

That’s so funny I was just thinking about growing sunflowers in my backyard to harvest the heads for my own seeds. Maybe this is the universe telling me to do so. Anyway, your plants look great and happy growing

I actually had the seeds on hand already as I bought a huge bag of them for growing microgreens.
I just started a few of them with my daughter as she likes them.
I have a few in the yard too.
So how long does it look like before these might be ready for harvest?
