Just wanted to reiterate not to forget to mix Perlite into soil when you transplant to bigger pots, you can use 1/3 perlite to soil. I bought the miracle grow perlite with nutes mixed in, just hand mixed it into the soil. Your babies look a little stretched, make sure the lights are 1-2 inches from the top of seedling. So far so good, it was only 4 weeks ago that my babies were that small, they grow fast. Remember the ratio for grow medium, one foot of plant=1gallon of soil, if you want them to stay small u can use 1.5 gallon bucket. Let me know how you are doing, peace.
thanks for the tips man, ill def. be adding the perlite when i transplant em. i do want them to stay kinda small but ill be putting them straight outside after a little while. they were definitely stretched but they are now alot closer to the lights. ill keep you posted bro. peace.

looks like you have a nitrogen deficiancy, caused by a ph imbalance?

what is your medium?

its MG organic soil. i am gunna assume the yellowing is from the tap water a put in the other day. now i have bottled so i can balance it back out. im glad she is looking so great tho minus that yellowing. im worried about the gimp tho lol, may have to ditch her in the next week or so.

mg organic is on the acidic side you could try some lime.water it in if you have to.

ive heard that N early on promotes females, so the stress that theyre goin through now my promote males or hermies? just somethin to consider for next time!

i start mine in mg seed starting mix, mg organic may be too hot for seedlings? ive never used it tho.

just keep at it its all about experience!

you may be over watering... most common reason for babies to start getting yellow... usually if you have some browing on the leaves the most common problem is you have your lights to close to our plants... if you have that miracle grow souil with that time releases nute crap... that'll screw everything up.. hope its a simple fix!!!!

goodluck and woohoo to outdoor growin heheheeheeheeee

yeah, i agree miracle grow organic not the best for seedlings. mir. grow makes a seed starting mix which is what i used, i then transplanted into mg organic when they had their first set of true leaves. do you have drain holes in the bottom of your cups??? if not use a push-pin and make a bunch because the taproot wont get any air if no holes and the water wont drain so you may be overwatering, if you have more seeds i would try again, the seedlings you have are being way too stressed and could turn into hermies or males. i noticed your skate box, it also could be getting too hot in there if you close the front, just an fyi, good luck, peace

i have a fan blowing into the box and the hot air comes out the top. i didnt poke any holes in the cups cuz i have nothing to drain it into but i guess ill just put down some paper towels or something. i will be keeping an eye on em for sure. im gunna be starting some more straight into the great outdoors next week and will use a different soil with some perlite mixed in to try to ensure a good grow. this is my first time and i really appreciate all the great advice guys this is definitely a great learning experience for me and this next yr. ill be doing an indoor grow so ill be back after this one! thanks again for all the constructive criticism guys, ill update again in a couple of days. and right now i will go poke some drain holes lol. peace!

If its miracle grow without nutrients added, then that is your problem, they have no nitrogen to support growth.they look as though they have no basic nutrients like nitrogen other then that maybe over water,if you can get new seeds, then do so they were green at first because they were in seedling stage and did not require alot of anything, once veg hit and the catlyon leafs started growing it became N defficiant well at least thats my take on it.Get some new soil something like the ones below and stick with it the whole grow dont decide you dont like it and switch, make sure it has basic elements for the plant to live up to and the begging or middle of veg so you can start feeding and not burn the young roots:bigjoint::eyesmoke:"fox farms happy frog" and "foxfarms ocean forest" are both really good soils for pots.premier horticulture makes good products too the brand name soil pro-mix is made by them if you cant afford those and can only get MG soil, stick with the african violet or orchid type soil its the best of all there brands for us.:bigjoint:
