Here goes nothing :weed:
Starting with
- 6x6x6 room. 3x2x4 mother/clone chamber
-t5 ho 6500k 2x4 light, planning 3 2ft sunblaster 6500k for chamber
- 70 cfm exaust, osc fan, small heater, humidifyer, planning on DIY carbon filter
- planing on DIY c02 generation more into vegging

seeds are of unknown variety.
soil is # 4 sunshine mix
nutes are General Hydroponics Floranova grow and flower

My goal is to have a room with an easily controled invironment, to not spend tons of cash, and to grow some sticky bud for personal enjoyment.

So far on the room and grow supplys I have spent about $500. This was for what I have listed above. Every thing was bought new exept some of the building material which I had laying around the house.

I am going with a "Only the Strong Survive" method. I am hoping for a female to put into the chamber for cloning and some females to flower out of what I have started. I have put 25 geminated seeds to sprout. When the time comes to transplant I will select the 10 best and prey for 5 females.
This first grow is going to be mostly experimental. I want to try things and see if this will work before splurging on some good seeds. Looking forward to some Blueberry!:hump:

Please feel free to coment as I go. Looking for any tips relating to T5 light grows.

Start of Winter here and levels were reading in the 30s. I read that seedlings like a moisture to get started. I can get it to about 60 to % in 10 minutes

ya i need more humidity too, but my box is so small.. someone told me to put an airstone in a cup of half full water and let it run to get some humidity, i haven't tried it yet.. i think it'll work though ;p

I noticed when my fan was blowing over some water I was letting stand to bring up to room temp the humidity rose about 15%. you could try that.

So far all but 3 have sprouted. The Quest for Females begins:hump: I think of re-naming this project to the T5 Experiment! I have searched high and low and havnt seen any pics or current journals at least through to bud. I am going to try to flower with the T5s and see what happens.

All seeds have sprouted except 2. I have put them out of their misery and transplanted 2 sprouts that were in a multi seeded pot. I was amazed to to the root was already to the bottom of the 4inch pot. Next time I will use deeper pots:cry: I am thinking I should transplant all seedlings into bigger pots ASAP before the roots get to established? Insert advise here.

Everthing is going nicely...looks like I will drop 2 more seedlings as they are not looking good. Plan moving forward is to transplant seedlings tonight into deep 8inch pots and the leftovers into a 10inch together. Just want to see what happens with the multi plant pot. This wiil give me 12 plants to get to sexing stage.

Transplanted 12 seedlings into the bigger pots and I had 4 left over that were doing well so I put them all together in a bigger pot to see what happens. Ideally I would like to get 5 females out of the bunch. I hope to know in 3 to 4 weeks.
I think my vision of flowering with a t5s are fading and I am coming to realization that I will need a 400w hps cooltube set up. I still can find any threads that have done the t5 flowering successfully.:?

Decided to go with the 400w hps cooltube set up. I found a 6 " inline duct fan I am going to try for heat evacuation from the light. only $30. Also picked a de-humidistat so I can take my room exaust off the timer. Should work better to keep the humidity at a constant level. The babies are progressing well. Starting on the second set of leaves.:-P

The baby plants are growing well under the t5s. Today I will give them there first recomended dose of nutes. As I had said in past posts I was never confident that the t5s would take me all the way...so I now have a 400w hps with cooltube installed. WOW! what a difference. Cant wait to start flowering. I chose the "hortilux eye" for the bulb. I have lost track of the exact $ spent but I think its around $1000 to date. Couple of baby pics and an up to date of the room.:bigjoint:

I am giving the babes both light sources for a few hours of day, the t5s are on for the full cycle and for now the hps is on from when I get home f to bedtime. Dont know if this will do anything but it will give me a chance to get the atmosphere just right while burning the hps. The hps seems to give off radiant heat that I am counteracting with more humidity to trigger more exaust. With both lights going I can balance 79deg at 50-60% humidity. No signs of any stress from yesterdays nute-ing. The little buggers seam to be flourishing.

So this mourning I have rearranged the babies a bit and put the 400w hps into the game. I am still running the t5 but as a side light. All looks to be going quite well as every day there is noticeable growth. I am thinking at this rate I could turn to 12/12 around xmas day. Then I can ask Santa for lots of females out of this bunch.:hump:
