Hello everyone who comes here. I just wanted some more opinion about what I did. I’m basically starting this grow with a friend who know some stuff but experience but not even similar way of growing than what he did. He got two send of 1:6 and 1:30 Thc/Cbd autos. And the rest of the plants are some seeds I got before I was keeping for this occasion and to experiment and learn about how the plants grow and doing some stuff with them.
(Sorry about language mistakes, still learning English in the go✌)

Is my first time growing cannabis and I really been waiting and saving for it. I might made many mistakes and I know many of them but now I’m flowering for the last two weeks almost three.
One of the thing it worries me the most is the humidity, I would love to get it down to 35% - 45%. But is never below 50... I got it in to 40% just once and was just trying a heater I got just for that but the temp went to 28-29c and I thought is too much, plus the electricity kind of electric fans use...
I really would like to find an answer here for it.
I’m using a dehumidifier, small. In the pics I’ll upload you can see, the tent is 120x120x200.
The extractor is making sort of vacuum effect in the tent( I read that it could be positive, but pls opinions??)

The pics are little random, I tried to keep some plants clean of leaves and small grows because I read is the way to get big buds. But they are all different treated to see differences and reactions on the process.
Also the plants are been bend down since early veg. Stage. One top and one fim ( it didn’t work, sad story. But the toped one got three heads instead of two✌♂)
The plants are 3 northern lights. Two diesel. Two critical++ and one criticon. Plus the two Cbd autos.
They always look healthy to me and my friend. Just now I think I burned the tips of one with nutrient...
like many newbies I guess. If you want more pics I have✌. Just to don’t fill the post now. Okey now I think I’m done ✌✌

What is the humidity outside the tent?

Meters should not be in light direct or indirect as this reads light radiation which isnt air temps.

Humidity dosent look a problem so far? Why change what aint broke.

Most will find it hard work to get exact readings in a tent - control the room the tent is in not the tent i.e. All heaters dehumidifiers etc go outsude the tent in the room.

Exhaust should create good negative pressure - adjust inlet flap size so you feel air wooooshing through, plants hate wind but create good circulation and exchange and bingo your in the zone. Wind can be too strong and constant which can dry burn leaves.

Light is a pita, get it right and plant will grow upwards daily and leaves get real big - either side seems too easy to achieve.

Dont ph soil, tap water is fine generally, water report can solve that freely available online from water company.

Calmag is generally in your ferts, if it is you wont need more most likely.

Just food for thought on the basics whilst you experiment :-)

try taking your pictures at night with flash or in natural light. burple really makes identifying anything hard. plus they look better

The RH outside the tent( in my room) is around 55-58, it could get bit higher but is bcoz the exhaust is blowing the air out of the tent to my room. I have a carbon filter and I can’t feel any smell yet. But once I open there is smell.
The meters of temp and rh is not on the light. Is just hanging in the tent a little bit above the light.
I understand about controlling the conditions in my room butthe dehumidifier is inside bcoz the humidity is higher inside, and also is not the best machine for it... even being on all day long it can’t get the rh below 55 sometimes... just with the heater does it.
What you mean by pita How could I get it right?

I know I’m sorry about it. I been very passionate about the pictures in the begging but I’m not taking so much time on taking them any more bcoz I didn’t have anyone to share them with but I’ll do it better now on.
I’m happy to share this and have reviews of my plants. I still really wonder how the bu are gonna look like. The light is high for the optimal develope conditions... and I’m also rotating the plants every time I water them. I change the position between them

Here are some pics they are not super recent but tomorrow I’ll take the time to make better pics of every plant to show it here. Hope you enjoy

Humidity should be the same inside as out as exhausts equalize everything. If exhaust isnt very strong humidity can build but if it is good then i dont see why its rising :-)

I have the exhaust fan running on max. The vacuum effect in the tent but the rh inside keeps being high. Is not extremely high but higher than the good range, mostly during the night bcoz the term is going down a bit. But after what you say now I’m a bit afraid of turning on the heater...

Heater goes outside tent, humidity probably rises at night from you sleeping there or just naturally with outside climate.

None of your plants are suffering or show humidity problems so id just dismiss it and keep it simple.

I hope you see the basics for this kind of stuff and how its controlled - weed is pretty highly specialized to deal with high or low humidity - all we do is ensure its not too high in flower that we get mold. Air exchange vastly defeats humidity so even less worry if you have good exhaust.

Thank you kingrow.
Just to let you know for my future questions ✌
the heater is outside the tent. I just use it one day inside but now as a heater just as fan to move the air below the canopy.
I’ll follow you advice about controlling the room conditions instead of inside the tent.
I’m having some economic problems right now and I just got one controller of temp and rh inside the tent and right now I’d half way the night(for the plants) and the rh is 60. Something that annoys the shit out of me... I really want to get lower for the last weeks of flowing. I know it can be much more beneficial.
Do you have in mind any way to achieve that?✌

Ignore humidity, you need to seal a room to lower it or more moist air just keeps on entering. The advice on humidity is largely wrong and mine goes from low to high snd back to low depending on day night and time if year rain etc etc.

Some pics from yesterday and comer questions...
So, one question is if you would cut all those small grows in the bottom part of the plants. At you can see I tried to have a flat canopy in all the plants. Maybe I over training them... I have around 5 weeks of veg stage and I’m starting the 4rd off flowering.
i know it looks bushy from above but the plants don’t have much leaves. Some of them, in other the try was to don’t touch them much to see the difference. Unfortunately yesterday while I was watering I found the hairs of my buds( most of them) got some brown in the tips of the hairs. Looks kinda burned up, maybe in the pics can’t see it well, but any idea why? I think wasn’t the light bcoz I have it higher than recommend but I did add some bloom food a lit bit early... can you guess what happened?
I know the humidity could have been high bcoz is busy but the last day it got much better✌
for the rest I look for opinion and advice
Thank you

Slightly too much light at the tops and maybe ferts dodnt help :-)
I have the light between 61-45 cm. Is just about the size of the plants. But I hope is not the light what happened... I’ll try again slowly getting it down. The recommendations for this light is 61cm veg and 45 cm flo.
About the setup. Would you put one of the fans below the canopy to move the air there? Or is good how it is?
I just changed the dehumidifier outside the tent with a tuve to absorb the air from the dehumidifier inside the tent and I turn of the intractor. I’m just using the vacuum effect from the exhaust and the humidity is much lower. Didn’t got up from 51.
Now I’ll turn on the heater maybe to get it lower and have little contrast on the day/night rh and temp. I would love to have darker buds but I just wish everything goes fine... I’m worried about the drying and curing proces. I’m planing to get the bóveda for it. Have you use them?

sorry for keep asking you about it.
would you tell me the range of RH you got in your indoor?
I also wanna ask you about this picture... would you take all those small grows in the bottom of the plant?
I kinda lollipop them (not full) but I just took the leaves and all those small grows have no light
you saw I'm growing a flat canopy with 8 plants in a 4 by 4 tent and they hardly fit... it is tight inside you can see and I would like to make some more defoliation later for airflow and humidity...
I really appreciate the time you take to answer.

Here the pics... some of them are clean from before but I don’t really know if I should clean those stems now that’s I’m in flowering. Would you say to take them all off if it has no light?

Hey man, take my 2c with a grain of salt, im a newbie. I have a few browning pistils/hairs on mine have seen another thread about it could be cause of being touched? Someone could correct me but i would trim anything thats not getting light underneath(maybe do it over 4-5days if theres heaps. im sure a fan in between lights and canopy will eliminate heat factor if there is one, maybe something else is off only judging from pics if your week 4 in flower i would expect alot bigger buds. Hope it all pans out and figure out how to remedy it. Goodluck
