Better be some living things in there ;) Now its just a waiting game to see some sprouting going on...radeon should I be misting the top of the soil like once a day or once evry other day? I dont want to drown my seeds in there lol, the temps are staying put at 80F but the humidity is low only 20% and I see the top layer of the soil is drying out a lil bit so how often should I mist the top layer of the soil with out rotting the seeds? Thx. :)

Just a lil update nothing as of yet above the ground, my only worries is that my water maybe too high in ph I, I just got a ph test and the water I was using was like 7.6 close to 8 so I got it down to around 6.8-7, so I will keep an eye on it..you guys think I made some booboo to my seed because of using that water high in ph?

Oo and another thing, is the humidity ok when it stays at 20% at all times? I know I would want those numbers when I'm in flowering but is it ok for seeds that just got into soil to be at constant 20%?

The humidity should be higher, put a pan of water in there. I think you will be okay with ph that high for only a couple days. You want to watch that ph especially when you start adding nutes in three weeks. Hang in there...rw

yeah youll be fine man. i wouldnt mist at all. you actually want the top soil to be crusty dry and the cups SUPER light before watering again. i honestly didnt water until i transplanted at like 2 and a half weeks! although you should keep the soil moist til they pop...

you will see growth soon. the pH is a lil high, but nutes will fix that when you start feeding anyway...or at least help

I would know about that ph issue sooner, but only today I got a ph test kit with up and down solutions, so I fixed the ph issue and it's between 6.8-7 so I think I should be good till I start adding nutes in like 2-3weeks.

Hey guys, juts a lil question should I keep the lights on 24/0 or 18/6 bcuz rite now I have them 24/0 would that make a change if I switched the lights to 18/6? and they haven't sprouted yet, so just a lil question about the light. Thx guys.

Some people like 24/0, some like 18/6. I like to save on power, also the more light more chance of males. Actually 14/10 would cause more females...rw

Thank you RW, I'm keeping my lights on 24/0 until they sprout above the soil and then I'll switch the lights to 18/6. I'm keeping the lights on 24/0 for heat until they sprout, bcuz when the lights go off the temps are droping down to around 68F-72F and I know thats a lil to cold for seeds to sprout nicely so I'm keeping the themps at 85F. The top layer of the soil is getting kinda dry and crumbly, I sticked my finger in about 1.5in down and the soil feels warm and kinda moist, the seeds are about 1/4in deep so I'm just lil bit worried that the seed will dry out or something bcuz of the top layer being lil bit on the dry side.

moisten the topsoil every day with a spray bottle and put seran wrap on the top of the cups or put a ziplock on them to keep the humidity way up!
